At least penalize high levels attacking low levels!

This is crazy! I'm in enlightenment age and I get raped by tanks all the time! There's just no way to defend against these! At a point where I earn half of what is required to upgrade a cannon or tower, they get 300k+ from me! How the he'll can I earn enough for upgrades to defend myself better if I can't move past half of the gold required to do so because I lose a lot of gold every 12hrs without attacking or immediately after attacking and breaking my peace treaty in which I lose gold even more frequently! So frustrating!
Like right now, defense upgrades are 4M and above. At 2M gold I get attacked and I lose 300k! If I attack and don't get back that same amount at least - which is almost impossible - I get attacked again for breaking my peace treaty and lose another 300k! If I opted to wait out the treaty, I won't earn enough to get back that 300k before I am open for an attack again!
I'm close to quitting this game! Arghh

Acually, its quite easy, but you have to spend more time attacking!! If you have citizens available, use a training blessing and attack as many times as neccessary to get enough loot to begin your next upgrade!! You can easily get 3-4 million gold and food in an hour or two of attacking. Ideally, you can start doing this while your citizens are still busy!! I always keep gold and food maxed out. If Im looted and lose 400k each, no prob, I can attack 1-2 bases to max out again! When citizens become available to upgrade, I use the resources, then a training blessing until im maxed out again!! Hope this helps!!!

Im IA and I actually agree with the OP! As far as oil is concerned, its almost impossible trying to save past 50 or 60k and some jackweed will dump 50 raiders on bikes (yes most times 40 -50!!!, crazy), grab all my oil, get all killed, give me a defender bouns of FOOD or GOLD (funny that, no oil) and a couple of medals, big deal.

Yujinn - pretty much what Yellowmar said. Or, ''what goes around comes around''. I'm sure this is nothing new. You've never rolled young Medieval bases .... ??

Just keep battling away and pretty soon you'll be IA and doing the same to young EA bases. Remember, you don't make war with a sense of fair play.

Now, oil is a different story altogether!! I havent quite figured out yet what Nexon's deal is with oil, but apparently its to make it as hard as effing possible to save enough to use for any upgrades!!!

Imo your medals play an important role in saving your resources. My second id is also in EA, and sometimes I can save 3-4 mill food/gold and around 40k oil without being attacked for days. My sweet spot in which I dont get attacked often is around 1000 medals. Once i get past 1200 medals, I start getting pounded mainly for medals + resources. And if i go below 800 medals, then mostly its raiders, who dont care about medals.

You just need to find your sweet spot, and build up a scary looking base lol, which not many medal earners will like to attack.

Rest, as everyone said, the only way to go ahead is training blessing + raiding + some more of both ;-)

Yes...where you are on the medal table is important. Just what greek have mentioned. You need to find your sweet spot on your medal telly.

I don't know where you are on the medal table but if you are regularly being hit my raider troops, I suspect you are below the 1k mark. The only option is to go higher.

Another important point is not to break your PT if you can only do a hit or 2 before going offline. I usually try not to break my PT unless I have at least an hour of play time.

I don't care what age or level a base is. If it's packed full of resources I'll attack it with my mixed army (no raiders). At least I'll give you a nice long peace treaty. :)

Some good advice above. Really important to be in the right medal range.

Me too. I have never used a full raiding party ever before. If they are kind enough to stock their base with that much loot, the least I could do is give them a PT. Hehe

But on the other hand, a raiding party usually leave you with crowns. Sooooo......

Staying low on medals can definitely help but the other key is to leave your TC exposed so you can get peace treaties. If you don't do that, you'll get trashed no matter what medal level you are sitting at. This also allows you to put your resource bldgs in the most protected spots on your base....

Personally, I have a mill and a market not too far from my exposed TC. Now, I ask you, who's going to pass up an opportunity like that ..... ?? Peace treaty, here we come !!

Definitely, but with a welcome mat of landmines and barb-wire to make sure that looters don't over-indulge. I also put my factory on the path to the mill so that they receive guidance on proper table manners from a heavy tank.
