Attack Speed Bonus?

When you gain +10% attack speed from Library research does it increase the damage over time of the unit as well, so same damage per attack but the attacks happen faster? Or does it reduce the damage per attack so that the damage over time stay the same but the attacks just happen faster now?

I would have thought it just means a troop gets from A to B 10% quicker, damage HP won't be affected, damage they give out will be only because they can stop & shoot quicker.

But with this game, it could mean anything, they all seem Mickey Mouse numbers.

It's probably like the Chinese unique archer, I.e, instead of full damage every second it's half damage every half second. I doubt the movement speed will change besides them not needing to wait as long to fire a shot.

FFS - its a speed bonus!! They would do everything quicker - move, shoot, reload, whatever, - so if they get off more shots they would do more overall damage but the dps stats should be unchanged !!

Given that the attack speed is increased would this not just increase the rate of fire and therefore the dps.
