Calculation of attack speed

Can Anyone (ideally BHG) clarify what is meant by “increased attack speed” from a munition, coalition, or other buff? For example, if a troop normally shoots once per second, getting off 10 shots in 10 seconds, how many shots would it fire in 10 seconds if it had a 75% increase in attack speed? Does a 75% increase in attack speed mean that it would get off 17-18 shots, shooting at an average interval of 0.57 seconds? Or does it mean that the interval between shots is reduced by 75%, resulting in a shot every .25 seconds (4 shots/second; 40 shots over 10 seconds)?

Knowing BHG logic… it means you’ll do less attacks but CS will tell you everything’s fine 😂 😂 😂

Kidding kidding… kind of… 🤔

The way percentages typically work with BHG is additive and you would do 17-18 shots per 10 seconds.

Your second example would be depicted as a negative percentage as opposed to a positive. Similarly how you “defender spawn time” or “quick victory time”

Example: Attack speed reduced by X %

Thanks for responding. That makes sense, but doesn’t seem consistent with how fast mortars currently appear to be shooting. Fully buffed with coalitions, munitions, etc, they have about a 95% increase in attack speed. But they appear to be shooting much more rapidly than 2x normal. More like 10x or more. That’s what makes me wonder if it’s not maybe calculated as an interval reduction. I can’t think of any other way to explain it.
