Help your city prosper with 33% cheaper Farm, Storehouse, Caravan, Oil Well, and Temple upgrades during this limited time event! Benjamin Banneker, born during slavery to free African-American parents, was a self-educated farmer, writer, mathematician, and astronomer who successfully predicted lunar and solar eclipses. He helped survey land for the new capital of the United States and corresponded with Thomas Jefferson, challenging him to ensure racial equality. Banneker is best known for the almanacs he published from 1792-1797 which contained a wide array of scientific and literary writings, including his own astronomical calculations. (Event lasts from 14:00 UTC 11/2 until 15:00 UTC 11/6.)

what a worthless event again. if people havent already upgraded these production buildings this isnt going to convince them to do so.

Production buildings are still the most worthless to upgrade. You can get more than a full-day's production from a single battle. Oil wells are maybe the only exception, but it takes a long time to pay for themselves.

I havent even built all the oil wells im able to build.

dont count on it, typically in the past a 2nd event is week long and would have already started. the devs are so clueless.

Well, you're missing out on some good oil. With the 2x event and oil blessing, my wells produce over 30k oil a day total. Not bad. But it takes a lot of time to upgrade them all.

I don't recall a sale on defensive buildings since the summer events. Would be nice to bring those back!

Well, I do like the oil well discounts. Anything that ups the capacity on the wells, whether it be by uni or upgrade, is appreciated.

Exactly, Need some among cannon towers, mortars, stable, redoubt discounts! Left farmville years ago!

we have had more than one sale on production/storage buildings since the summer event too. We havent had an oil upgrade discount since fighters.

Just think of it this way - if they had an oil sale, you would be tempted to play instead of taking a break. So it is like they are easing you out the door...

Come on guys! We need more resources in the game to allow us to upgrade stuff more easily. Since Nexon increased production by 40%, and introduced Moctezuma, I haven't had to grind for oil so much. Before those buffs to production, I would never have considered upgrading an oil building other than when it was on sale. Now I have collected 140k oil in 2 days, and am going to have a big push tomorow night for the last 90k I need to upgrade my missile silo to level 3.

What about the sale on traps last week? Aren't those defense? You could quibble about them not being buildings, but I think it counts.

Some of these folks have no patience whatsoever. I still got 3-4 farm/caravan levels to go that I won't be able to hit during this event as it is. Roll with it.
