Banning Cheaters - Kudos Nexon

We reported a cheater to Nexon, no need to name names, but we must gives kudos to Nexon for acting very quickly in the matter and downgrading the said player from his inflated level 253 down to a level 36... all this in time for the beginning of our war. Really, we, in general give a lot of crap to Nexon, but kudos have to be given when merited. We will keep reporting cheaters, and appreciate the efforts made to get rid of them.

Right, I'm not sure why he was reverted to level 36 instead of banned, but it's a start...

The effect is probably the same. I highly doubt that someone who cheated to lvl 253 is now going to play the game normally and advance from 36.

What if the player is legit and paid for his crowns? What if it's just another bug?
@nb4 could we get any official feedback on this to know if it's a bug or those players did cheat?

I'm also curious. If a person seems to have an unlimited crown or stag hack this just sets them back by a few hours or days at most.

Boy, a cheater with Cyrillic writing in their name. Never would have imagined that......../s.

I guess if there was a legit way he got to that level he wouldn't have been downgraded.

Yet it's happened many times before. Remember a few months ago there was this bug which made perfectly legit players' bases reset.

We actually had a player downgraded also, almost at the same time. We wanted some explanations, and after 3 days of silence, he finally admitted to cheating over the last couple of weeks. We had absolutely no idea because he didn't up stuff overnight like most idiot cheaters. We appreciated the coming out, he was honest. He ended up quitting the game a few minutes later. We will never condone cheating, wether it be in another alliance or our own.

We know for a fact it's not true for all players. We know players who got their old bases left and thousands of crowns as compensation.
