Bases swapping bug still occurring this late in the game?

I'm still very concerned about the fact base swapping has not been addressed. This late in the games life we are still at risk of our base being swapped at any moment. One of the top players in our alliance had this issue affect him recently. And staffs way of fixing it was completely inadequate. All he got was a redesigned base which was much weaker than his previous base even though he provided a screen shot of what it looked like. This set him back several weeks, and has had him on the verg of quitting. He lost multiple upgrades and his level 8 walls were returned as level 6 walls. Considering the time and effort it takes for us to make these upgrades (specially the price of these walls!) it has me seriously worried that this can happen to any of us at any time.

Yes.my players village got swapped again when he was at work for the 2nd time.whats more unfair is if you have high medals and you took time to get them they will not give back the medals youre losing while waiting for it to get fix.Players suffer but they dont mind about what you lost.

Fortunately, our turn around on village swap issues is fast now that we've resolved a bulk of them. Submit a CS ticket, and they can get you swapped back ASAP.

I've been sending messages to CS via in-game interface for a total of 1 month 1 week now and have yet to get a satisfactory resolution on this matter.

Here's a summary of things that happened

• 3 weeks after village swap occurred and contacting CS, CS finally told me they couldn't restore my village and they offered a replacement village roughly similar in strength to my old one. Before changing to this replacement village, I reminded CS about specs of my original village (I had sent a screenshot of my original village so I wasn't bluffing about the specs).
• I got the replacement village. A lot of things were wrong - missing castles (incl. 2 lv 5 generals), weaker walls, wrong wonders. Quick calculation showed that this replacement village is missing 10 mil gold and 7+ mil food of upgrades. I did get 500 crowns as compensation. My case was closed, i.e. I had to open a new thread in the in-game interface to contact CS.
• I contacted CS again about the wrong specs.
• No reply from CS yet. But my village was changed back to the switched village I had earlier. My crowns are in the negative.
• Contacted CS again with no reply but now my crown changed to a positive number, but it's 700 less than before.
• 9 days after my message about the wrong specs, I finally got a reply from CS asking if I want crowns as compensation or get set back to my "last valid restore point". Honestly the second option terrifies me after I've gone through.
• I fired a reply essentially asking to fix my wonders and my crowns as my current village (i.e. the switched village) is actually closer to my original village compared to the replacement village CS gave me. I did that 4 days after CS' message though (I don't log in that often nowadays - the village swap and the numerous AI bugs is quite depressing, you see).
• And now I wait.

Whenever you ask players to submit a ticket for village swap can you also ask those staff to read the thread of messages on bhgs fb account before you keep asking same question if merp submitted a ticket for his village swap issue?i just noticed that you dont even read threads of messages that ive sent before you even reply asking same question over and over again.all you have to do is to read threads of messages so you can avoid sending stupid questions.

Just so you know guys,when you are making followup on certain issues you are talking to different person everyday and whats worst about it is those staff handling issues doesnt make time to read threads of conversation as to what really happened on each case they handle.that makes you even more frustrated because they will keep on asking you the same stupid question if you submitted ticket about your issue.and if you are unlucky you will be able to talk to stupid rep.who doesnt know how important reading comprehension is in handling customer service.

But if you find the right ones in the support-staff you´ll have a wonderful service Sadly it´s a big difference between tha bad and the great ones

I lost my village for less than 48 hours ago and I didn´t get a good service at all at first Then came the right person in and *poff* my base was back

Yes thats how it works..You just have to pray and wish that the person who will handle your case is the smart and professional rep. not the stupid ones. Ive sent screenshots of my defense logs and also my players and ask if they change the medal offer that our attackers is suppose to be getting. Philippe P.gave me a copy paste message saying these lines....Greetings leader,thank you very much for letting us know our devt team is aware of this issue and actively working on a resolution. At the moment we dont have a fix or work around for this. We appreciate your patience etc.My inquiry was too simple and answerable by YES or NO so why cant he answer it and give me human reply instead. I was wondering how many people receive that kind of script he had.. Cant he even make it personalized at least?I dont know which planet did he came from.

Village swap is the worst bugs in this game. They should deliver 5000 crowns+ and close the issue. 500 is a joke compensation for all of you've come through.

Yes it is.receiving very low amount of compensation for village swap issue is an insult knowing the fact that you are losing heaps of medals while waiting for it to get fix which they never give back once its fixed.When my village got swapped I was given 1200 crowns I did not dispute on the amount but they made me feel like a beggar..

My Village was swapped on July 4th. Since then nothing has happened and I have sent tons of messages through the in game customer service including a screenshot how my village looked like. The first time I receiced an immediate response which was very encouraging but since then I only received an offer a week ago to continue with my current village for an undefined amount of crowns. You see I was lvl 115 and went back to lvl 64. A medieval village. Since I'm still registered as an Enlightment age player I cannot upgrade my current village to Gunpowder age. I have maxed everything now in this village (except for the walls) and am stuck. Not only am I losing interest it is also highly frustrating that a game that I've been playing since October and which I very much like, has come to this. To be clear, I only want to continue playing this village until I get my village back because that is what I prefer! I don't know what to do but all I can do is hope this gets sorted swiftly. Thought I try posting here in the hope a mod can perhaps pick this up.

There are only two reasons why its taking so long for your village to get fix..either they cant find fix to put it back to original or you are unlucky getting stupid representative handling your case.

Same here, more then 2 months of waiting, and to make sure they dont compensate me with a ridicioulous amount of 1000 crowns or less, ive requested the ridicioulous amount of 1 mil, which ofcourse is way too high, but 500 is way too low, nexon, meet me in the middle here and reset my forrst chopping cost to 300k instead of 1.6 mil . I have no idea why email contact is so hard, so I see this forum as the only possible way to inform you. Also because after one of my replies actually triggeredna mail from your site.. Do something

I am curious about your case bigcity..what's taking so long for your village to get fix?does it require manual restore?or They cant put it back to original base?

They mailed me that, they could maybe restore my village from a backup, but no garuntee at which state it was, I had a vilage that was almost maxed out medievel, after swap I had a classical vilage, which I played for the time being. But it has taken them so long, I've reached medievel almost maxed out by now with the swapped village. So they also proposed to keep the current one and get some crowns. Now by all means, Ive read what some crownd mean in this forum, and that aint much, so to prevent them to scoop me off with a sleazy 500 crowns , I figured a number for them, which they can re propose imo. But if I keep this village, they also need to reset wood chopping cost, I've a playfield of 23 tiles, and next wood chop cost is 1,6 mil, whichnis not in line. So for lost months of upgrading into gunpowder and if resetting of the cost of wood cutting is not possible, I need a bigger compensation then a handfull of crowns. Getting my old village back without crowns and without garantees is not an option anymore, bu now.

I noticed the same thing. Ironically my blacksmith transferred across so I have two blacksmiths. But as you mentioned, also noticed the the cost of clearing a forest has stayed the same while the amount cleared has massively reduced.

I've seen your earlier post re the crowns and actually I don't think you are being unreasonable. I would expect Nexon to be able to calculate how much crowns you would need to get back to your previous level. It would not cost them a thing and you could build yourself back up to where you were in an hour. I believe that would be fair. They could even restart your city like that and it would be the easiest and least time consuming solution Whatever the solution, I hope it is soon picked up and taken care of in a satisfying manner.
