I already wrote it in the Bugs section, just FYI.

City Center’s range got extended after the update.
Right now City Center has a spawn range longer by 2 tiles than it had before the update.

Without knowing that and experiencing it firsthand at war attacks I messed up both of my attacks,so watch out in case you don’t want to be unpleasantly surprised about Howies rolling out of City Center faster than expected

Thanks, didn't notice this earlier and was wondering how the TC still put out troops even though I "froze" it as usual.

Also watch out for some new traps that have just been made available.

i noticed this too.

i think this actually makes life easier while farming. the enemy howies wont fire at your troops right away, they will have to travel to get in range so they will be more visible, and you will also have couple extra seconds to react

In 8 war attacks since release across 4 accounts I haven't noticed anything different. Most likely you just didn't sabotage them early enough.

Confirmed. Sneaky, but makes sense. Everyone loads howies so push the radius out to 7 give another defense buff. We'd be going ape sh@t if they spawned upon destruction.

But who sabotages TC anymore. Im finding myself intentionally popping it with decoys anyway as alot do now.

People who don't have decoys or have weak IA decoys are the ones who sabotage TC.
Even before this you had to have more skill to deal with bases when in lower ages than higher ages, because of the tactic nerf, now it's even harder.

I noticed this on the very first war attack I did after the release. Hopefully my finger was close to decoy tactic at that point.

TinSoldier , can you give us a definitive answer please? I just watched a replay of an attack against me. The attacker was nowhere near the trigger point of my TC radius. I have my resource buildings well outside the radius for people to help themselves, yet my howies still spawned and he had to use multiple attacks whereas people normally use one.
Maybe the official radius hasn't changed but definitely the trigger point seems further out.

Tin has replied in a similar post about this issue saying that they game developers did notice any issue in the numbers however as people like myself that have been playing the game for years now, it's very obvious. Someone said maybe you didn't sabotage early enough, ugh no it's always been the same and has been that's what made the attacks successful. Doing it too early leaves the chance. There are a lot of e.a. or lower players in my alliance that don't have the ability to use blitz or decoy so it's not a simple fix like that. Of all the things that have come with the update, this one stands out the most even if it was not an intended one.

Some people iun my alliance have reported this today, although I haven't noticed it. But I usually just kill howies with planes when I see them and usually don;t really worry about it...

I think they didn't change TC radius, its happening because pathfinding algorithm fix.
p.s. just hope i will live long enough to witness tank pathfinding fix so they DON'T GO TO melee range until start shooting at AT guns...

I did not even think about the HUGE indirect nerf to brit nation. We have quite a few brit nations in my alliance but they aren't great players so obviously they didn't notice any changes.
