Hi,

We performed our 52th consecutive win last week with our clan. No loss since months..

Who did better ? Only wins, not stale mates.

If you've never stalemated, you must be a mid or low-level strength alliance. Pretty much every alliance in the top 30 on the glory board have stalemated (even Korea Army).

And if they aren't manipulating matchups, then this is evidence of another flaw in the matchup logic. An alliance having this sort of success (congrats Spaceboy) should find tougher and tougher opponents along the way.

With 52 wins in a row you'd acumulate so much Glory you'd surely rise to at least top 20 even if you win as much as 200 Glory on average , and start from base 12kGlory, so at which place on a leaderboards are you?

ColdestRage, I believe they may not be higher because the glory system is not treating his alliance very fairly when they include their developing iron-classicals.

From the sandbagging thread (lol)

aaarrrggg...because we got some very new, junior players (iron-classical) in our team who are developing & attacking, we are gaining resp. 19 & 41 glory points !! Before the change it was at least 100-200. At least we have the loot if we win a war, but this is not enough for our top players..

Of course, we have iron, classic, etc. in the roster, but we have no globals or atomics. Just a good mix of industrials and lower level players. But we are very offensive.

I was just wandering if other alliances have much more consecutive wins.

8/10 are wins, ~18.000 glory points.

But as we play mostly 15 player-wars, the glory gain is not much : between 5 and 80.

I do not consider the team as part of the sandbagging club : we do not have a top of 5 super players with 10 other low-level players. We have 10-15 very good attackers and the rest are either new players or some low-level bases to round up to 15 or 20. There is some WW matchup manipulation for sure...but this is not the main goal.

So even if this can be considered as sandbagging, is 52 wins in a stroke much or not ? I have no idea for other alliances...

We know that we should get tougher enemies but we have no idea how to obtain this, except playing smaller wars with only the top player ? If one has an idea how to get more tougher enemies, let me know !

Get some higher level players and join the big leagues if you think you are good.

We tried but as french team, we got some high-level player but their ego was also too high. They were not willing to attack low-level bases in order to win the war. It is very difficult to get a good player so we get the young ones in the team that we train...not an easy task neither.
There is also the cultural fit..as we are an adult group that do not play 24h on this game. We also have our work, family & life to take care of.

In this case, our 75-win streak counted; we had plenty of Iron Age accts included, but much of this streak took place before Global Age was released (so we also had 'a good mix of industrials and lower level players').

haha...I'm french speaking..so we say "offensive" for good attacking. In English, this word has indeed another meaning..haha..

We can't compare to the OP's record as we haven't even had that many wars but currently we are 31-5 with a 16 match win streak. We have no bases above gunpowder and are always matched up against EA's, IA's, GA's and AA's.

Is there a way to see how many wars we've fought? Our alliance has never lost one...

This is not true. You start having wars where you get 2-4 glory.

We did stalemate a few in there. But, it is IMPOSSIBLE to win when you are up against an alliance 2+ ages above your own.

12000 . Can't go lower than that even if you lose milion wars in a row, nad trully speaking you can get more Glory having less Glory cause there is a higher chance you match with alliance that's similarto you in strength

That's not true at all , they gain lessGlory cause they are matched with weak alliances where missmatch happened and that's why they gain so little Glory- cause theyshouldn't be matched with those alliances at all.
Sandbagging is defined by having inactive Irons in war , if you take active ones you ain't defined by matching algorythym Sandbagger and recieve full Glory ammount you should recieve, nothing gets deducted as Sandbagging penalty
