BGH you need to revise your medal system. This is urgent.

Seriously, the current system is a joke for too long now. Today I got attacked by someone who took 28 medals from me. But when I attack, I only can win 1 medal 99% of the time (I'm at 2450). I will not argue the 1/-38 system. I suppose it's logical to win less medal/battle as one climb the medal ladder. But in that case how on hell it's allowed that someone can attack me and lose 28 medals in one battle!! That's non-sense! I can win only 1. They can steal me 28. Now I have to win 28 battle in a row (28!!!), with non-stop gameplay if I want to recover. This is a this stupid system. And don't even expect I pay a single crowns. Seriously BGH you are wasting it all. I'm so frustrated I'm on the verge of quiting. If this happen again, I'm out.

I came across opponents worth more medals once a while but taking time you will move up. I am at 2600ish and moved through 2200, 2400 after months. I mostly focus on resource though.

But I do agree the current medal system needs a revamp. There were some great ideas from other players on the forum. Bhg just needs to respond to them even a thumb down.

Definitely, a serious issue along with cheating. I think it's ridiculous that some guy in IA can take a lot of medals from me just because he's lower medal than me by dropping medals. Obviously, I don't stand a chance being in EA and he has air.

Welcome to the club.

I've been sat at 2600-2700 for months - if I go above 2700 'No Opponent' pops up to often, below I can next merrily away to find something suitable to attack (i.e. not 2- level lvl13 wall with FC abandoned cheater base) and once in a while grab more than 1 medal. But generally just play enough to keep the workers busy.

Overall - IA and endgame as it stands is completely borked. Hopefully some of the new War matchmaking will appear in PVP instead of the ridiculous medal Vs medal version.

For that very reason I use a mixed army on my first attack of the day and search through the opponents until one pops up worth a load of medals. It's a useful way to try and get some diamonds too as I often don't have any. I then go about my business sniping TCs for quick wins and loot 1 medal at a time. I'm currently at 2,763 medals.

I still can not understand the enthusiasm of earning medals. I passed 2000 and I am happy there. And the pure reason I pass 2000 because I am bored by the gold league logo and wanna a change. Is it really fun to chase the high medals?

Dont even get me started. I have posted about this on several occasions. Recently I have begun taking screenshots of these maxed out and more advanced bases than mine and Im going to post them (with names omitted of course) along with my base in hopes that someone can explain how the heck is it only worth 1 medal if by some crazy chance I 5 star them. That explanation they posted a couple months ago was an insult to anyone with the slightest bit of sense.

Chasing medals is not really about ranking on the leaderboard, it's for the league bonus. Right now, dynasty 3 is a very sweet spot.

The root cause for the current medal system is the force quit exploit. If they fixed that one and defenses can actually be won we could actually have a well-balanced game. It's beyond my understanding why BHG is incapable of fixing it.

The root cause for not fixing the force quit exploit is the overall game stability. The game is crashing too many times and they are not capable to differentiate an intended quit (force quite) from an unintended quit (game crash). Therefore if they roll out a fix for the force quite I can guarantee you there will be an uproar of players being angry because on top of losing their army due to a crash, they would also lose medals.

And improving the stability is very hard because it requires modifying the technical foundation of the game (I assume).

Hello everyone

I am new to the forum but not new to the game.

For those who have been playing the game for more that 6 month you know that the medal system was not always this bad. Nexon has managed to nerf the medal system just like it has nerved every aspect of the game over and over gain. Everything Nexon has done to the game, in the name of what they call game balancing has been detrimental to the player enjoyment and gaming experience. And all the months that Nexon released Nerf after Nerf they continued to ignore the cheaters and the major exploits in the game that are costing all if its customers daily loss of reasorces and medals.

These problems have been around for many, many months and the extent of Nexons responce is to tell us to be patient.

The way I see it is we can either look at what Nexon has actually done with all the nerfing, lack of concern about fixing major bugs, kicking out the cheaters, and we can insist they do something immediatley. Or we can listen to the same old rhetoric from them which if we look at thier history will result in nothing being done for another 6 months or more and another series of nerfings.

As you can see I am over their whole company line about "we are working on it please be patient". My patients with the force quite exploite and the cheaters ran out about 3 or 4 months ago when it was obvious that Nexon will not do the right thing unless it is pressured to.

I know this is a very critical first post but these major problems in a game have been going on way to long and as paying customers we need to stop asking Nexon to address these problem and start demanding that they do.

Nixon treats us like we are beta testers not paying customers and I am over it.

You are right, JuDomines! With their current game architecture it's very probable that they cant' tell force quit from crashing. But there are smart methods to kill force quit (kind of) and allow for handling crashes with grace - despite their fundamentelly wrong game architecture. Redgar suggested a plausible solution long ago: Give every player a certain number of Retreats per day! All of the following counts as retreat:

- game crash
- force quit
- even a visible retreat button is conceivable

They can handle retreat as it is now (keep ressources, lose troops, trigger traps ...) or they can come up with a more reasonable mix. That's not the main question. Let's assume, every player gets, say 3 retreats a day. Then after the 3rd retreat continuing with attacks is at ones owns risk because a loss of any kind means medal loss. Point!

There are probably other workarounds to this problem but Redgars solution was the most appealing to me because it seems easy to implement.

It's so frustrating that BHG completely fails to address this issue whatsoever :-(

As far as this beautifully designed game is concerned I'm in standby mode (like many other game verterans). I'm still having fun consuming one training blessing per day. Just don't move up the leaderboard too much so that no opponents kill the fun!

Welcome to the club , well since you are at 2400 level , I believe you too have got 30+ medals by attacking someone higher in the league , I m currently at 3500 , every attack on me is for 30+ medals , but mostly I lose 12 or 18 medals for 2 and 3 stars respectively but at times 30+ as well , at your level I will suggest try searching for some 30-40 times very easily you will find 20+ medals opponents . Not really. I get matchup with opponent giving more than 1 medal only 1% of the time. And half of the that is max base with Max walls. So I persist and argue: it's unplayable

BHG/Nexon, there is another very simple option to (partly) resolve the force quit issue: if a crash/force quit issue occurs, don't take away medals from the attacker (since you can tell if it's intended or not) but count it as a victory for the defender and give them medals! I can't believe you guys did not thought about (implement) it before!!

Btw, it's time to come to the realization that this forum is full of anger (including mine) whereas we should talk about strategy, be excited by new releases and so on. It should give you guys a good insight on how wrong is the direction you are taking. Having that said, Magic Planeswalker app just gave me 700 gold piece to celebrate the release of their new update so I'm gonna play Magic a bit instead of this game.

Well that's your choice , I used to find many players lesser than my level still giving 20+ medals , around 2800 medals things start becoming difficult , I stil suggest you to try for 30-40 times you will find ppl around your level or lower level , still offering 20+ medals , and you must b finding many 20+ but strong bases .

Everyone here seems to enjoy the game as much as I do and seems to be trying to help Nexon come up with a solution.

The tone here seems to be that Nexon is trying hard to fix the problems but they are overwhelmed with the difficulty of finding a resolution. I totally disagree. To me it is obvious that the only reason Nexon has not fixed the problem is because it is not cost effective for them to do so. People are still buying crowns and Nexon is still managing to suck in new player and hence new revenue and victims into the game.

Unscrupulous freemium game developers like Nexon have always been thinking of new ways to rip customers off and refusing to fix major bugs while they put the games through there nerfing cycles.

The best thing we all can do in the hopes of a resolution is to post the TRUTH about the game and how its developers deal with major game flaws in iTunes, or and other social gaming media. If you are a paying customer like me hold Nexon responsible for what they are doing or for the lack of what they are doing.

Demand compensation for your losses. Demanding compensation for this is well within our rights regardless of what Nexon says. Compensation is not asking for a freebee. Compensation is asking Nexon to return all the loot and crowns that Nexon has allowed to be taken from us as a result of Nexons negligence.

I don't know about everyone else here but when I screw up in my business I have to pay the price I don't make my customers absorb the cost of my mistakes like Nexon is doing. Can you imagine that happening with your car or anything else we own.

Picture this scenario. You buy a new car and you realize that because of a flaw everyone who drives that car is loosing gas. The makers of the car say, oops we made a mistake but it cost to much to fix so you will just have to keep refilling the tank and absorbing the cost of the fuel. Oh and sorry but we cannot replace all the gas you have lost either even though its our fault. All the while they keep on selling new cars to new unsuspecting customers.

That is exactly what is happening here on a smaller scale


Believe me if we hold Nexon responsible for there actions and they see those revenue dollars drop they will miraculously discover a fix real quick
