With everyone questioning why this game is in the state it's in, I thought maybe I'd just point out the obvious: BHG and Nexon don't want to build a loyal fan-base and long term successful game. They want make a quick buck. And when they're done milking this cow, they'll lock it in DomiNationsVigile's basement along with the one eyed child no one ever talks about. It appears obvious once you look at it: -They shamelessly cash in on their Civilization "roots" in order to cross advertise. -The amount of staff dedicated to this game is pitiful. One snarky moderator who logs in once a day (how much can that cost really?), apparently no customer service staff, and what has to be a very small development and technical team... -Based on the sheer amount of bugs and problems with the game I can only assume they "borrowed" most of their coding and spent what little they did on flashy(?) graphics and animations.. Again, all flash and no bang. The horrendous lack of customer service and openness with their customers can really only mean one thing; they're trying to sell "Starter Packs." And once they stop meeting their quotas, Dominations will quietly slip into: "Server under Maintainance until 25:63.

Every company that jumped into this genre of games was inspired by $upercell's $ucce$$. If they want to be different, they could have developed Rise of Nations style (and pace) on mobile but no, they want to come into this genre because they see a lot of cows to milk.
