1. Its version number will be 5.x (No new Cold War Age)
-- Even after summer rush, Nexon will find that most people still struggling in Industrial / early global

2. Release time will be mid / late Nov
-- Bad players need some candy

3. New Leader Wu Zetian, She Buff General HP / DPS by 30%. reduce cool down by 30%, and probably reduce Fort Cost
If BHG kind enough, She will reduce upgrade time for some building by 30% (maybe Garrison and Tank)
-- Not much can do in university now, and Wu is an empress in 7th century , no point to buff factory stuff.

4. New Bunker Level (240K oil, 4 workers, 13day) spawn HT mk5
-- In fact I am surprised that they introduce new tank deposit instead of bunker in previous release

5. No New troops / Building
-- There is no many can copy from CoC at this moment

Interesting predictions, or should I say 'wishlist' ? :D
I wouldn't like any new leader to offer permanent reductions for building upgrades, not after the 2 years many of us have spent on the game.
If anything, permanent upgrades should be available only to us veterans, as a reward for sticking with it all this time!

lol probably 6 workers.
I reckon they'll add a new general too since there hasn't been one in atomic age.

That's because there weren't any real wars in the Atomic Age, just political posturing and a lot of ''my missiles are bigger than your missiles''! :D

The 50s? There were wars, probably the most prominent one brought up (and mentioned in the game quite a bit) is the Korean War.

MacArthur is already in the game.

LoL, BHG already start to reduce time cost. university research time is first step, forest clearing is second.
They need to push more people into later age to make more money.

BTW, as I am already maxed in attack, I don't want to see more base with hard defense as well. LoL

Not a bad thing to reduce the time needed for upgrades. Don't forget we still have Cold War Age and Space Age to come.

Every time this comes up, you express a sentiment that everyone should suffer and grind just as you have. And every time, someone points out that making new people face a two year wait to get to the most interesting content at the top is not a good model for drawing in new players...

I recommend permanently shortening the time for and reducing the cost of all enlightenment, industrial and global upgrades, so that new players can join the atomic age before everyone moves up to cold war, and the game doesn't encourage them all to quit first.

Reducing time for younger players to advance helps the very seasoned upgraded players too. More people to attack in MP, and if you war, less weight times (and hopefully more fair match ups) for those heavy alliances.

I agree with Yemen, we need new players to be able to catch up. I would do it by having frequent sales where early age upgrades are heavily discounted. It might encourage new players to spend a little money on crowns.

God forbid lowering the upgrade times while increasing player retention just because you discovered the game when it was released and had to suffer through it all...

It's already too easy to advance as a young player.
I remember getting to EA within a few months, then the game slows a little. By the time you get to IA it's more of a grind but IA is when the game starts to become truly enjoyable.

Well then how about this: reducing upgrade times should be for higher ages only, not because we 'suffered' but because technology in our base improves over time.
It makes sense that as your technology improves so your base should become more efficient, and higher level bases have better technology than lower ones.
Is that a more reasoned argument? :D

yemen , you are correct.
I think Nexon should make all upgrades prior to AA take a maximum time of 3 days and all costs a maximum of 50,000 food/gold or 5,000 oil.
Each upgrade should be a maximum of 2 workers and all expeditions should be over within 4 hours.
Would that be acceptable to you and the new players?
Not good enough? How about we multiply everything I said by 0.5? :)

You're right, I was confusing the Atomic period with the cold war era.

Well, I think it takes about 6 months to get to IA (especially if new and figuring it out), but I wasn't really talking about those ages.
I was more meaning IA and Global (maybe even AA once Cold War comes out). Taking a day off here and there wouldn't be the end of the world, but might help them to catch up a little, so that the atomics (or cold war) have more people to play with.

We have a heavy alliance problem where the heaviest alliances have no one to war with. This pushes sandbagging/mismatches all down the line. Just trying to think of solutions. ;)

Also, for you non WWers, I'm sure it would mean more people for you to loot in MP. :)

Agree or not, the game is losing players
there is significant drop when new age introduced and big changes happened.
But seems some money whale like Manifesto able to cover the loss
