Can't upload pictures to forum. Picture is smaller than 2mb (480kb). Tried as *.jpg and *.png. Always says invalid file. Tried another Pic, the same.

Thanks Eddie, unfortunately, using the advance option still give me the same error. It said invalid file. Did you have to resize and reduce your screenshot? It would be time consuming having to resize all my screenshot.

I checked the forum settings. The file types accepted are jpe, jpg, jpeg, gif, psd, and png. They are all limited to 900000 bytes and 1440x900 pixels. Does that help?

Wow that is a lot of work to be able to post on forum. Before the forum update, I was able to upload without any post edit work.

I'll try to convert the file and resize. Isn't there an easier way for us to post screenshots without having to use program to edit/retouch the image?

I went and reduced the resolution to less than 1400x900, and less than 1mb and yet I still get the Invalid File error. The file type is jpeg. Is there something wrong with my forum account?

The other option is to use an external website to post screenshot. Is Nexon trying to save money on data storage by making it hard for people to post pictures?

Not save money on data storage; the forum software can become problematic when there's a lot of images in the DB, from what I understand. It's not the first place I've worked with it, and we had that problem in the past as well.

I looked at your account and there's nothing weird or different about it that I can see in the forum admin tool. :/ Can someone post steps they use? I am unsure if any restrictions apply to my account as an admin.

I gave up trying to upload images as they kept appearing small and got smaller each time I tried again. It used to work fine but not anymore. I now post mine from Photobucket as I already have an account with them.

Ironangel, I just used to click the share photos icon and click upload. It worked until recently :/
