Cavalry buff, cannon nerfed

Can one of the mods please explain the reason for buffing the cavalry and nerfing the cannon? Cannon are useless now.

How did they nerf the cannon?

Cannons did not change after the update so how were they nerfed?

Cannon do less damage to buildings. I can't remember what they did b4 but it is less now.
