Chat issue workaround

At the moment, the only chat issue affecting my alliance is seeing week old messages and friendly challenges. We are not seeing posts from other alliances, and everyone's troop requests are visible.

To quickly clear the old messages, open the Customer Service window then return to the game. That's it. Your chat window will only show the recent messages, until you post again.

Alternatively, use your OS's "display open apps" function and immediately return to Dominations. This is very quick, but won't work for everyone, since displaying the open apps might remove Dominations from memory. On a device with a decent amount of memory and the latest OS version you should be OK though.

If you are having a conversation the workarounds gets tedious, so fixing chat is still very important.

Well that will work for about 2 seconds. It will be especially tedious to those with alts on the same device since disconnecting/reconnecting also triggers the chat to display old messages.

Here’s a better chat workaround, it’s called Groupme and it’s a helluva lot more stable than nexon

It's a workaround. Use it, don't use it. I could care less. Just sharing my experience in the hopes of making a few peoples lives a little less irksome. What have you done for others today?

And how do you request troops or issue friendly challenges in GroupMe? Your comment adds nothing to this thread. Which actually doesn't need adding to, other than a simple like if you found it helpful.

Thx for this Tsamu. It's nice to see some players being positive and looking for solutions instead of hijacking every single topic whining about the same things over and over again.

Tsamu Just found another workaround. Tap the recent apps key/button on your device to see list of recent apps. Find Dominations and tap it. Problem temporarily solved.

Of course if your device immediately closes down Dominations when doing this obviously its no good. Some devices wont keep the game running in the background when viewing recent apps.
