I'm looking forward to seeing the next Twitch presentation of TinSoldier attacking a same-level base.
Hoping to get some great tactics on how to attack a strong base.

I would argue that the game is actually less P2W than it was before. Prior to the rebalance, I felt the pressure to five star every max base, which meant keeping a full stock of EA at all times. With the rebalance, it takes a minor miracle to five star a max 3D base, so using premium cards is pointless. I haven't bought or used any EA cards since stage 3, so thank you Nexon for the relief on my wallet!

I'm not going to argue that the game is more fun now, but I've adjusted to this new reality where max stars in wars are a rare occurrence.

Nexon should have differentiated these changes for the game and for wars.
lmo, they should've left the mp aspect as it was and made these changes to wars only.
Getting NTGs was tough enough in mp and then players could've truly tested themselves against the harder defenses in war.
It would've also made low level bases more viable in war, making an easy 5 star victory not-so-easy.
Anyway, spend your extra money wisely. :D

Haha. Glad to make someone laugh in this mess of a game it has become.

Let me summarize the "Combat Re-balance" strategy from Nexon/BHG: "Boost revenue in the most narrow-minded way as possible".

Despite the exorbitant amount of money it cost to play this game prior to the "re-balance" (or, disembowelment as I call it now), I truly did enjoy Dominations A LOT! Probably, too much if you ask my family. I spent hours a day and spent WAY too much money for crowns/troops/etc. However, at least with my expense, I was able to successfully gain acceptable amounts of "loot" during attacks and WW's - and with that, this game was tremendously entertaining and worth my time. Now, I am lucky to get 3-star victories and any decent amount of loot in my attacks. I'm hyper-frustrated and becoming spiteful. Why spiteful you ask??? Because, it’s so apparent to me that this re-balance wasn't for the betterment of the gaming experience for your customers... no, it was clearly a profit play. The logical formula is straightforward: With bases more difficult to conquer, making loot more difficult to achieve, then players will be forced to spend more money on crowns/troops/advancements to achieve better results. Brilliant!!!! ...well, unless you’re on my end of the spectrum, as a user. I can imagine that if Nexon/BHG would respond, they'd say, "Well, with your personal base more difficult to conquer, you'll save more loot". Umm, I don’t thinks so… cute though! In my experience; prior to the re-balance, the ratio of loot gained during my attacks versus the loot lost with players attacking my base is around 5:1 or better. Meaning, that for every food/gold increment lost when people attacked me, I gained 5x or better that with my attacks on other bases. After the re-balance, the ratio has dropped to around 2:1/3:1... But, wait...there's more!!! Now, with my lack of 5-star attacks, I don’t win diamonds, my victory chest doesn't fill as fast, Coalition resources rarely come and my rating is dropping quicker than Nexon/BHG fan base (which means I get aligned with junior bases that don’t have as much loot). What does this mean to me (and other players)??? Break that wallet out player and get to swiping that credit card!!!

In closing, I'd like to congratulate you Nexon,BHG… you have taken a happy user that spent copious amounts of money and have turned me spiteful and a non-advocate. May not matter, but if you think this is the only place I share my feelings, than I laugh…Your naiveness spans greater than just your business strategy skills. OH! BTW, I most certainly will not spend another dime on your game, until you make changes...well, that is, if I last long enough to notice.

Worse its just getting worse...

Walls to come next 😭

I dont want a 0 Star defense on my base! I want a Peace Treaty so I dont lose 25k Oil to 5 back to back attacks on my base which stole loads of resources but didnt scratch the Star system.

Lvl13 Alliance Perks (or somewhere round there) will already make the game harder as people reach it.

Most players upgrade Attack items before Defensive (because its far quicker and easier to do) so you are imcreasing defences on things that are not currently running at full defensive power.

Most players opt for Attack Coalitions over Defensive Coalitions, so again, bases are not living up to their true potential.

A lot of players rush the game, so their attack is far higher level than their defenses, so again many bases not living up to their true defensive potantial.

A lot of players will use Event Armies or so called Troop "Tactics" for attacks, 40vs40 war, 40 will probably use them for attack, yet War Bases Defensive Strongholds will probably only be filled on a handful of bases, so again many bases not living up to theur true defensive potantial.

All of these defensive buffs, even if warrented by your "data" on 5 stars in my opinion are not a true reflection on how hard the actual game is, its really hard attacking Cold War Bases and Max Atomics fully researched up.

None of this was necessary (you ruined the game with the introduction of Troop "Tactics" 1.5 years ago) and that was the real issue. Now in a bid to justify them, you've taken all the fun out of the game....

Spend a week trying to get NTGs for Coalitions, to have a complete mismatched war and effectively waste them MMMMMM what fun!

Fix the issues, Stop the cheaters, Listen to your loyal playerbase, they have far more understanding of the game than you give them credit for!

TinSoldier please ask your colleagues to visit the Bugs and Known Issues section and also the Ideas and Features section. Its not to late to sort this mess out, give the players what they need and the tools to do it, bring the fun back into the game, stop making it so hard, then people will be more likely to spend. Or at least you'll have more people playing the game. I'd rather have 1000 people spend £10 than 10 people spend £500 in my business.

Aren't you guys afraid that your player base will review bomb your app if you keep doing whatever you want without listening to them? Anyone remember the latest Tomb Raider game?

Does anyone here play apps that have 1 star or less?

I'm glad BHG/Nexon have realized that General oil costs are excessive, but a 10% reduction in cost does not address the issue. I would like to see a complete change in how general oil costs are handled. My proposal is that you pay oil to activate a general initially, even the first one, but then you only pay to repair him or her. So, to get 3 generals, you would pay 500 oil each. If you want to swap one of them for another general, you pay, another 500 to activate another general, but then you can swap between all activated generals at no further cost.

When you go into battle, if one of your generals dies, another takes 50% damage, and the other takes 10%, you would pay 500, 250, and 50 oil to repair each one respectively. It would be like refilling a bunker, where the cost depends on how many heavy tanks were deployed.

So... Weeks ago I realized that something was wrong. I'm level 192 and I could wipe a level 140 with no problem (ofc) and a level 160 with some thinking (cool. Now it seemed impossible despite altering combinations in my army. Even with mercenaries, alliances or troop tactics.. Time gets me or defenders wipe me easily. And that's where I came here for an explanation and found the rebalance party along with tons of BS as an explanations and more tons of complains. Ok, there are my 5 cents.

Guys, for owners of the development company this was never about players having fun. Well, maybe a bit at the beginning but the Marco Polo zooming, the crown ship and other stoopidities should have warned you about this. For them is all about money. They are not offering a free game for you to have fun but for selling you TIME to shorten the space between two happy gaming rounds. And the way of selling you TIME is making you wait as much as possible so you find the need to shorten that wait.

Think about it. Until now they didnt care that you had a lot of resources easily. Actually they loved it because it was easy that you had so much resources that couldn't spend them. You had all your workers busy and you had to wait to spend the huge amount of resources you had. I bet that seeing all those resources you had and being unable to spend them made you nervous more than once. That's where the crowns, the offers and all that stuff comes in. Hey, don't get me wrong. The game is free and they have to make money. I understand that. And the balance was good between "you annoy me with offers in exchange for letting me play for free. But now it is ridiculously unbalanced.

They didn't have enough so they thought. "Hey, let's make them wait A LOT MORE, so they run out of patience and buy more crowns, workers or whatever". The way to do it? You are seeing it. The harder the wins, the more you have to wait because your army will be decimated more often. The thing is that they crossed the line by far.

For example. They need people to spend a lot more of oil (the most difficult and defended resource) and that's why they are improving factory units. But... with planes they screwed it. Due to the difficulty increased now it is not worth to use planes that are worth 2200 oil (in my case) unless you find someone that has at minimum that quantity. Because you know already that you are going to loose the planes with all your army. So, that number is at minimum. So, plane usage is reduced. So, oil consumption is reduced.

Another thing. They say they that "players were doing more small-scale raids, using only a handful of troops, for resources rather than all-out assaults." and they want players to perform more full scale attacks by making more profitable. The problem? Well, despite making them profitable you are doing them impossible so the only way to take resources is precisely increasing small attacks to lose as less army as possible and have a short time training to try again. Why should I care that I can win 2x or 3x bonuses if I know it will be impossible to achieve them and will have to wait 2hrs to perform another attack? What is better? Earning 200k resources and attack again with no wait or earning 400k having to wait 2hrs for next attack?

And then there's the frustration. These guys haven't studied the neuroscience of games. The effort-reward relationship has become totally unbalanced. Now we should call it effort-frustration. And who wants to play a game whose end you know you are going to be frustrated?

"Oh, Zapa you are too hard on them! They have increased the bonuses at library and university to power your troops!". Of course they did! That's more TIME to achieve the bonuses. TIME that they sell you if you don't want to wait. I'm not going to talk about the museum btw. I don't want to cry. Or what about those arrows in case you "forgot" to collect something. Hey! Haven't you thought that maybe I don't want to collect it? Of course they have. They just want to encourage you to use it to buy some supplies or whatever.

Yeah. In case you didn't notice I'm pissed off. Playing this since first version of the game in 2015 if my memory is right and I have enjoyed a lot... until now. Time to take it or leave it I guess. Probably the second.

Only writing this here because most people won't read DominationsTV 's excellent post.

Museum has murdered War.

Now its all about chance and no doubt money.

I just had a global anti tank gun take out a tank destroyer in two hits. Silo hit it once granted. But that's a 5.5k ish weapon taking out a 30k ish tank. I had to record it and slow it down. Just to make sure.

You notice the ish I use above? Because no one knows what points or stats anything has anymore. Skill, planning and knowledge have all gone.

Lvl 217, atomic and I've joined just to say this. Such a shame but it feels like you now killed the game.
