This is too much now, i just don't see what you wanted to achieve Nexon? For example, HT attacker uses 6 HT and defender have same amount spawning from his base, only on steroids. Where is the logic ih that HTMK5 is stronger 1 vs 1 than maxed out HTMK7? it's 195 days and 7 workers to max them in university. I liked the idea that atomic can't 5 star cwa but this is too much, just watch how many will quit this game. Me personally will play this for one more week, i will give you time to fix this bit after that uninstall and never look again this forum. People play games for fun, this is not even close to being fun, and i don't say that because i can't 5 star those huge levels! Now you will see 20 bases with 3 def coalitions in 25 people wars. Your developers are on drugs i guess, 160k hp defending HT, why, due to wich criteria, because he is defending a base? I really can't understand that

the consistency principle in creative efforts (eg science fiction) means the alien with the ray gun will shoot the same one scene to the next.
logic doesn't change for production or plot needs; one problem with "game of thrones" is that there are creeping consistency violations.
consistency violations are a signifier of production problems interfering with creativity -- that logic doesn't matter once fans accept dragons.
one effect is that hardcore fans lose interest, so it's a red light concern even if the violation itself is minor or imperative.

brainstorm: a new bunker tank type unit would be more sensical to our fantasy brains that enjoy the imagery and theme.

I've watched some replays in our current war against 3D bases, and nobody has gotten more than 3 stars so far. The MK5 heavy tanks are essentially invincible. Even in friendly challenges with no coalition boosts, one shot from a defensive MK5 takes out nearly 50% of the HP on my maxed (including uni) MK7. How is this reasonable?

The only effective counter to these super tanks is planes, and they still die too easily against max 3D bases. Plane HP needs to be doubled to have any hope of surviving these tanks.

It was an adjustment just from stage 2 but it was doable. This new update is utter trash. They are just pushing people hard to buy troop cards which also won't make one bit of difference. It takes my supersonic mk6 2 strafes to kill an mk1 heavy defender. I guess those that were already high level have the edge and yes already tried challenge on my own base and how it seems like a fortress with the insane hp defenders. Good luck to the newer generation of players who have to try and deal with this and good luck to those trying to get into high medal leagues. Good luck to us all and goodbye (At least in my situation) to those 1 min and 20 seconds attacks. Now I'll just be trying to even get 5 stars if I'm lucky. I don't think ill ever be able to beat those maxed cold war bases simply because the defenders will overwhelm me.

TinSoldier Could we have an answer on the question raised above (and in other forums too): What stats will receive the betrayed troops? will they get the defender's stats (with a betrayal charge) or will they get the stats of the adequate offensive unit (with the betrayal charge)?

Great question. If a defending HT has it's HP reduced by 50% from a betrayal, is the remaining HP 50% of the defender's HP or 50% of an attacker's HP?
83,000 less 50% = 41,500?
40,000 less 50% = 20,000?

TinSoldier , care to clarify please?

Remember the good old days when they used to change things slightly? A small nerf here, a small buff there?
Increasing the defenders HP by this amount is crazy. It boggles the mind where Nexon's thinking is at!

I agree. If the developers decided that defensive units need to be different in their stats then offensive ones, they definitely need new visuals and name. Current state just look absurd. It irritates me more then actual increase in difficulty.

You definitely get the HP of the defensive tank, minus the betrayal penalty. I just did an attack where I betrayed one, and the silo was instantly targetting my freshly betrayed defensive HT MK5 instead of my reasonably full health MK7.

Honestly, it makes about as much sense as anything they've done from the release of the archive up to this point.

If you took your car to Nexon for a service, and they activated the brakes permanently, told you it was a better way to drive than you had been, would you find that logical?
All these ''rebalances'' are essentially putting the brakes on a great game.

Oh, I never said any of this was logical. I'm starting to agree with the conspiracy theory that this is a way to drive folks away without them asking for too many refunds. Whereas, if they just did a flat shutdown the outcry would be even greater.

Dominations 2 or some variation? Coming in 2019? Meh. As long as it's run by the same people I have no interest.

Bootney Lee Fonsworth , it doesn't make sense that they'd drive their customers away. We pay their wages. But they are definitely going out of their way to alienate us.
At this stage it's hard to fathom why most of these ''rebalances'' are so drastic. I remember the early days of nerfs and buffs were minor 'tweaks' here and there. These changes are the equivalent of a hippo using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut. There's lots of noise, it's very clumsy and it leaves a mess.
To be honest, many of these changes are overdue. I like defense but baby steps, right? :D
I'm hoping the next stage(s) will give us a clearer direction and maybe, just maybe, the ends can justify the means. And maybe there'll be some troop buffs in there as well.
