Combat Rebalance Stage Three Patch Notes

Having spent a few days with Stage 3 and gone through a couple of wars, I will say that the impact to MP still seems minimal to me (and is easy to adjust by lowering medals if needed). In wars, bases without D coals are harder but not impossible (I took out a level 290 base in one of the wars, although some of the high level offensive bases held up). However, facing high level 3D bases is now an absolute nightmare.

In our most recent war, we faced a leaderboard team in a 25v25. Both sides put up a lot of D bases, and the winning score was 109 stars. I heard there was a 30v30 war between top 20 alliances and the winning score was 105. Maybe this is exactly what Nexon wanted, but I'm having a hard time concluding that this is fun or anything remotely resembling fairness or balance. I don't see the point in burning through premium troop cards to get three stars, so if their goal is to drive up revenue in this manner it may backfire.

Maybe there is a master plan that will become clear at the end of all the stages, but at this point wars are anything but balanced.

After each stage, the team is evaluating and updating the remaining planned rebalance changes, so we've be hesitant to say 100% that the rebalance is a 5 step plan. That's how many we had initially outlined, but will evaluate the plan a couple weeks after each step is introduced. However, after the rebalance is complete, there is still a likely possibility that the team will continue to adjust the game balance as new units are introduced, and they have more long-term data to compare.

Good question on how the battle timer keeps up with the balance changes! It may not be extended in order to make the 5-star victories more rare, but I'm happy to bring it up to the team.

That's very possible it could be difficult for new players. I was of the thought that new players may be able to work with this new balance more easily, since they could learn the changes to buildings/tactics/units as they encounter them, instead of adapting a proven strategy. I'm sure the team is keeping an eye on new player behavior, but I'll look that way too!

Sandbagging has not been fun for the community. We will be evaluating World Wars overall with the new balance changes in mind.

Anybody knows which upgrade determine the Nations Unique Units Defenders level coming out from the Command Post, Armory and United Nations ?
Is it the unit's upgrade at the Armory ?

Provided that for the last year I have been doing HT only raiding exclusively, it's not bad positioning. After i re-re-rewatch the replay it turns out the problem was landmines, a lot of defenders that slowed HT's to a crawl and base defense that shoot them down. Fighters prove useless. Sooo, unless one attacks a REALLY underdeveloped Global age, then HT is a risk.

In addition, I stopped participating in WW. That thing is suicide now. I'll probably return once I max out uni. And that is a long way from completion. But hey, at least no one attacks lvl257 bases anymore :D

Xabar is correct! Defenders turned by Betrayal keep their defender stats (albeit slightly modified based on the attacker's research of the War Tactic's infulence.)

Updates to Google Play and the App Store are tied to full updates. When balance changes are paired with future releases, we'll be sure to add them in the patchnotes there.

yemen , no argument from me if the game stops being 'fun'.
However, someone's 'fun' and 'skill level' are two separate arguments.

At this point I'm just sitting around and collecting resources from farms Caravans and Wells until all the combat rebalances are done, until then I have no desire to engage in the game while the gameplay is still changing. Once they finally say all the rebalances are finished then I will look at the game and decide if I want to keep playing.

I didn't have a heart to look at stage 3 stats cause they're all full of factory and troop cards stuff 😆
Need some reduce for tactics training time also, -15 or -10 per tactic will be understandable. I understand if Decoys get some reduce, but why that much? It's the highest tactic in the war academy, unless you're thinking to add more tactics/war academy levels, it just makes sense if players used to overrate that tactic once they reach Industrial Age.
I also don't think that Protect and Sabotage should take 2 spaces. Just slightly decrease their rates will be enough. First aid gets better, cause I can see more people use it.

There are also some thoughts about re-balancing units. Please make attacking units have the same stats with defending units also, vice versa. So there will be ''balance'', also that every player will have unique stats, depending on their research boost, both in attacking and defending units. Please make the highest researched stats apply in both.

Um I got some more thoughts, but I just woke up, so it's kinda bit foggy here 😆

With the exception of the tanks, all the other troops of the barracks have been rebalanced. Only the HP went up a little, and I do not think there are any more changes, but the rebalancing would not make sense, so that the defenses would rise and then the attack? The result of battles and cheats would work again as before.

I just noticed something interesting in the table. The 6th row for French and Greek have a lower DPS than the 5th row. Meanwhile the Standard one has a greater DPS for the 6th row compare to the 5th row.

Other interesting things are
At the 1st row, greek has 200% more DPS . french has 100% more DPS compare to standard.(as Offensive Army they only have 25% and 15% more).
At the last row, greek and standard MBT Mk2 have the same DPS.
At the Health Collumn, you can see greek and french has more than 100% more health compare to standard (as Offensive Army they only have 10% and 20% more).

If the stats is right, the french and greek surely have a strong defenders.

Hm my ARL have barely twice health than CW tanks 🙄
Well not sure if this is the rebalance that I imagine , but that sounds fine 😁
