Harriet Tubman was an American Abolitionist and Social Activist, most famously known for her bravery in guiding dozens of enslaved people to freedom via the Underground Railroad. During the Civil War, she would lend her knowledge as a nurse, cook, and laundress. She would become the first woman to lead an armed expedition as the head of an espionage and scout network for the Union Army. Through this position, she helped guide the raid at Combahee Ferry liberating more than 700 enslaved people.

To celebrate her courage you can go to your University and enjoy 50% off resources on all of Harriet Tubman's University skills for a limited time!
