Couple Thoughts

I was thinking it would be nice if they had some text under your resources that lets you know how many of your resources are lootable. That way you know when you log off you know about how much you might lose. It would change as you get your resources from the road, farms, and caravans so it is real time because I know there is a different percentage for resource makers vs holders.

Also I thought it would be really nice that when you age up and get access to more buildings that you can choose what level building to build. For example like roads are automatically built to the level that it is already on the map. If you were to build a farm while you are in Gunpowder age you could choose between level 1 and whatever level is available to you there (I dont upgrade those all the times so it would be at least level 8). They would add in resources and time to build based on the level.

What do you guys think?

Loot percentage varies per nation and blessings. One click upgrade to enlightment next? ;)

I personally am trying to max everything out before I go to the next level town center. I believe that is the best strategy even if you don't use the troops at a certain level, the higher ones you might like a lot more!. Also try to upgrade before you leave so that leaves less to loot. :)

Couldn't agree with your more Carter.Howell15. It would be wonderful to know how much I am losing before I logged off. The "choosing what level building to build" idea would be awesome too. It's so annoying to have to setup a new Catapult or Tower at lvl 1 and have to spend real life time AND villagers waiting for the things to upgrade. Instead, something like a "What age would you like this building to be built in" window could pop-up with different resource amounts and the only benefit of building a Catapult level 3 at Gunpowder Age would be time because it could cost you the same amount of gold as building a lvl1 Cat, lvl2 Cat, and lvl3 Cat put together. If you have the total amount (for all subsequent upgrades in gold), then why not make it so people can skip the time it takes to build the three crappy versions of the thing and go straight to the age you're currently in?

I understand that time is a huge factor for making people WANT to spend real life $$ on this game, but in real life, if you were in the gunpowder age, you would NOT build towers that had archers in them simply because you know better. Guns > Bow & Arrows.

Any thoughts or +1s would be appreciated!

So I just switched to British and the extra loot bonus doesn't kick in until after you have finished the battle so I don't think it would matter for that.

i agree, in gunpowder age, you would never build a tower with archers on top of it... you should be able to build the structure age appropriate.
