CWA MP search update

This isn’t a complaint though I’d be lying if I said that this feature won’t be missed. I know that global players complained about the fact that cwa raided them so it appears the day has come. I didn’t raid until an hour ago as I was trying to finish the current event. Cwa can no longer see global bases. I’m at silver league one currently so I don’t know if it’s all the same at every league but now there’s only aa and cwa showing up. They also adjusted the fragment values as well as aa now gives 11 frags for 5 stars when it gave 31 previously. Cwa gives 46 though tbh I never went against cwa for 5 stars because the chances for loss were to high to risk. I figured they would adjust it eventually in preparstion for space age.

The only thing that’s odd to me and maybe someone can verify for those not cwa. All the bases I’ve seen are not abandoned bases. All of them have their traps untriggered along with trade goods available. This in itself is tricky as it’s always easier to smash the deserted bases to get ntg. This will slow down the raiding unfortunately not to mention the cwa bases that I see are 250-280 which aren’t reasonable for me to raid and were the bases I would pass on. I didn’t see anything about this happening but nevertheless it’s going on now.

I had to check. I'm in Silver 1, too, and I haven't seen a single Global either, even when nexting to look for one. I found one in my attack log 1day 12hours ago, but nothing today. Something's definitely changed.

I haven't seen a global since around 1pm EDT yesterday, lots of medal dropping as well as full wipes, from Dynasty all the way down to Kingdom 2. And the fragment numbers have changed - I get fewer from atomic, and fewer from cold war. And before some customer support person says it is random - it isn't. I consistently get fewer from both now, in line with the published numbers for 1 age up/same age/ 1 age down.

Before, it treated cold wars as if they were atomic for matchmaking and fragment purposes. Attacking a CWA got 1 age up fragment rewards, atomic same age, global one age down. Now I would say it is treating CWA as a separate higher age. Someone flipped the switch on the back end.

A few CWA have reported still seeing globals, but most are reporting not seeing them anymore.

TinSoldier Can you please confirm this has happened? And in the future make announcements before it does?

I just cycled through twenty MP bases to see what I could see...not a single Global base in there.

When we introduce the Space Age, it will be able to attack 2 ages down. The Cold War Age will act like the other ages and no longer be able to find Global Age bases in their searches.
The team is preparing the servers for this change, so Cold War Age bases may not be able to find Global Age bases even before the next update.

I'm guessing they gonna tell us tomorrow level requirement for Space Age.

This makes sense since CWA got access to new upgrades in the past few updates. CWA Is no longer just AA+.

It makes perfect sense but it wasn’t announced either. From everyone’s searching through multiplayer, did y’all happen to notice if you saw dead bases? I’ve asked ally members AA and lower and all is normal. They see dead bases mixed with active bases just fine, as normal. I’ve searched 20 bases today and they are all active bases.

Right now the biggest issue I’m having is that without seeing abandoned bases, it’s very difficult to get ntg for war. Been searching for 30 mins trying to find specific bases and it’s always the same, the ones you need never show up. There’s a small chance that the extra ntg you get from getting 5 stars might be the one.

I understand why it’s happening and it makes sense but it wasn’t announced either. Just tossed in there. I think when the chat/donation issue was fixed, this happened so probably not coincedence?

It's a double edged sword for atomics. I'm now seeing tons more opportunities to attack decent global bases, however I am now the prey for those CW players that need people to attack. I think globals are the only people happy with this development. lol

TinSoldier The more I think about this the more it’s starting to concern me. Have you all actually considered the economics of this. I don’t know the actual game numbers but this seems like it will turn into another mess. Example 2000 Cold Wars attacking a pool of 10,000 bases. Now remove the globals 50% of the attackable bases. Now you have 2000 cold wars attacking 5000 bases. Now take into account the long shield a base gets after being attacked. All 2000 cold wars attack 1 base now there are only 3000 bases to attack. All cold wars attack 2 bases now only 1000 left. Have you accounted for this. Keep in mind maxed cw troops can not survive attacking a high lv cw unless someone spent a fortune in their museum and used every single aid available(not financially sound for normal humans). That narrows the pool of attackable bases as well. I feel your intention is to get people to spend more money on advancing to space age and museum artifacts but so far forcing players has not resulted in stellar profits.

I think he's not playing the game anymore, and if he is still, all he does is looking for any flaws of the game every day

I like how I called him a dumbass and he somehow interpreted it as I didnt understand his point. I said in the other thread that you cant complain about everything and expect to be taken seriously. the game definitely needs more late age players but I refuse to listen intently to a guy that is also saying that dominations isnt a free game and crowns are psychological traps. Its like going into subway and having the sandwich guy tell you how to trade in futures while he proceeds to mess up your meatball parm. Figure out how to make my sandwich first and then we can talk futures. Blood needs firgure out the fundamentals of knowledge before he starts schooling us on fiat currency. He needs to get a dictionary and not just look it over, he needs to study it, he needs his wife hovering over him giving him encouragement, he needs flashcards. If he doesn't have a wife maybe we can all chip in a start a patreon for him.
