Fight back against your city’s invaders with 33% cheaper research and production costs to Barracks Troops, 50% off training to the Machine gun, Commando, Heavy Tank, Bazooka, Armored Car, and APC from the Factory, and 10% off upgrades for Generals!

Danelaw was a series of treaties created in 876 between the English king Alfred and the Danish warlord Guthrum which established a set of borders and legal terms that effectively ended the Danish invasion of England. The invasion had lasted for over ten years, and was originally led by Halfdan Ragnarsson and Ivar the Boneless, sons of the famous viking leader Ragnar Lodbrok. Danelaw was established soon after Alfred’s victory over the vikings at the Battle of Edington, and for his victory over these invaders King Alfred is remembered as Alfred the Great!

(Event lasts from 14:00 UTC 4/3 until 14:00 UTC 4/13.)

Nearly three years they've been running this Support department, and still they can't arrange for someone to reply to customer queries on this forum.

I can see discounts on Barracks troops (33%) and generals (10%), but no one on Factory ones! is a real problem or only a wrong announcement?

I was looking forward to 50% cheaper factory troops... But seems like only barrack troops are on sale. Oh well. Saves me having to skip wait times on upgrading units already in my armory.

if You would log into game, you would see factory researches are not discounted (troops yes, generals yes, factory no). Luckily I started some pointless armored car research there couple of days ago anyway...

After all this time you would think they would know how to word things because events like this cause so much confusion and I know people somewhere wasted their crowns to participate in the event finding out later what they wanted to research isn't actually on sale. By the way what is quoted here is NOT what is says in the actual game. The actual in game text does not use the word "Training" and that alone has messed many players up. Using the word production (Though I figured they meant training) confused people. I get that someone will likely says everyone should read it more closely but as the same time, people are busy, concentrating on other things, and generally don't assume the game and its developers use word play against them.

I agree.

Always watch out for words like production, training, etc - devs do not understand the difference in their own game :( Real shame!
Those bugs are all over the place - game, forums, twitch, etc.

They either do it on purpose to mislead players or they really should go back to elementary school. IMHO they should start with basic words like CAT and DOG ;)
This company just can't communicate with players :(
