Level 285 as requirement is the much bigger mistake than releasing Digital Age now. I don’t welcome this step, but overall it’s a potential for them.

But setting 285 as requirement is showing they have no clue on their game. Many people have done really much to reach the last ten levels for 246 and space age. That means that’s usually all big upgrading (and short as well) are done now. If economic buildings like farms/caravans/roads are industrial there is no real fast path to level up besides of crowns. And there is no short upgrade time.

i am sure no space age player has issues to collect rss for building upgrades, therefore the discounts are ridiculous as time discount would be the only helpful discount. Even less workers requirements are not good.

Doing one level to 285 requires between 10 and 15 days at minimum without library, independent which buildings are used.

They don’t know what they are doing, that’s it.

Which means if they're releasing DA next month then they had it just about ready to go when Muet was on the twitch show. You don't just release a new age in a few months.
Blatant two-faced lies.

I am 276 atm. With my currrently running upgrades I will be low 278 in seven days. One level more with open library research.Virtually I am at level 279.

With one tower, one airdefense and nine traps upgrading simultaneously I can make one level in 11 to 12 days, level 285 is possible until end of the year. 🙈 I guess pre nuclear age will require level 340.

Dont expect to much from the new age.

We will get upgrades on all troops and buildings and they told us about one new airstrip unit.not really a big throw, just business as usual, nothing else. It’s not worth running for it.

There is nothing that could ever satisfy you people. I swear. Grow up. Most of you are probably frustrated because of the level requirement. If maybe you put up on a decent thread then people from BHG might wanna listen to your concerns, but with your constant flame i find it truly impossible. If you dont like how you re being treated, reflect upon your actions because you deserve every little bit of this.

Indeed. I'm sure the devs had a completely different, player friendly and benevolent plan going forward until angry and frustrated forum posts just popped up out of the blue for absolutely no reason whatsoever. As everyone knows all successful businesses are petty and reactionary in regards to things said via customer service. Oh, what might have been if only the customers weren't such ungrateful whiners, huh? Too bad Nexon's hand was forced into not fixing bugs, matchmaking and putting the very bare minimum into interacting with the playerbase. There's no way that they wanted to implement $200 museum artifacts and to continually add new revenue enhancement schemes in lieu of tightening up the game's foundation. We made them do it. Sorry, Nexon/BHG. It's going to be tough to live with this shame.

Oh dear, you receive a monthly Cheque from them, as you are defending them everywhere? Or are you a BHG employee trolling every criticism? Doesn’t matter cause you don’t understand the points.

I don't think that flamming BHG employees is having a negative effect on the game itself, but it certainly makes them less likely to jump on here and explain what their reasons are. Anyone that works in any type of customer service knows not to waste their time on entitied cry babies because they will never be satisfied. Half of you guys are probably either cheaters or f2p players anyway so they really dont owe you anything.

all that said, as someone that has been and is willing to spend reasonable amounts of money to advance quicker, I can confidently say as a rushed CW player the level requirement for DA has been firmly placed behind a pay wall. I was planning on trying to rush to SA by winter but now im wondering what the point is; the attack pool for higher ages is already so small if they convert SA to the traditional 1 up, 1 down, this game will be nothing but grinding difficult bases. BHG needs up the amount of speedups given out to lower ages because no game should take half a decade of playing to complete. This is really disillusioning the guys that will one day provide the bases that your precious whale players will attack.

I think it’s interesting that their introduction to Digital Age focuses on the 1980s. My read on this curious tidbit is that there may be an age released for each decade. I.e. one for the 90s, 00s, 10s, and probably an age for the 20s. I’m looking forward to seeing how the game progresses. As far as the XP requirements, I have mixed feelings; I remember players early on in the game rushing ages purely for Offensive gains, which made World War with those opponents very skewed. So I don’t mind the XP requirements, but as a 244 Level CWA player, I’m honestly not sure where those entry points should be, only that I think it is prudent to have some type of XP requirements.

Many grievances with this game, especially this one, are completely legitimate. Try again instead of making a useless rant.

As a completely legitimate and none pay to win (293) player, I will be upgrading to Digital when it relases, however not out of choice. The VAST majority of people over the required 285 threshold will be P2W players, and therefore will (as any new age does) walk over any lower levels.

I have maxed offense but not even began to scratch the surface on defense, especially with the rate at which they've released new upgrades to existing defences.

This move of rushing a new age is clearly a monetary business decision, nothing more, and absolutely leads me to believe the game will be scrapped sooner rather than later. As someone who's been here since the start, I feel upset and honestly betrayed by this move, but having monitored the growing distance between the player base and the Devs, am not surprised this is happening.

Whether you stick with it or call it quits, good luck to all moving forward.

Really? Are customers that complain about a faulty product entitled to be ignored and entitled to get an even more faulty product?

PS: TinSoldier I'm allowed to have an opinion of whether someone's a douche.

Was that you trying to make a smart and funny comeback? I never said anything or tried to change any of your oppinions?? Half of your reply is completely a waste of anyone's time.
Learn that I have made public my distaste for such negative behaviour regarding the staff. Nothing more, nothing less.
Good day kind sir.

If its not too much trouble can you stop defending devs? Or it because you're on Nexon's payroll?
Whichever one it is, they deserve it. All but TinSoldier.

Come on guys, just ignore this troll, commenting trash on dp as Mountainking wrote. Maybe it’s Muet himself, who is to cowardly to tell us his in game name and alliance.

I complain all the time (but never bought a thing) as this is just a bad piece of coding, with very bad customer support. I work myself in the software industry for 40 years (financial software), and driving a customer helpdesk. So I can tell the difference between good and bad work done. These guys are really, really bad from my point of view. I do not know their side of the story for their defense, and they don't communicate neither. So I just keep hitting them with the baseball bat till they reply back...one day..

While I would have preferred the next age come out next year, I don't really care much. It doesn't affect the way I play the game at all. Yes upgrading to Digital will probably provide some offensive boosts, but generally speaking strong bases will hold up ok. I'm f2p except for my Embassy purchase when it was on sale and am level 277 CWA. I think the xp level is reasonable to drive offensive only players into upgrading rss buildings, by far the fastest way to lvl up. I'm not naive though, it will drive some people into paying to rush buildings to get there. So be it, that funds development to keep the game going...
