The marketing strategy works in this way: they offer it at 50$ we start complaining they offer a limited time discount by 40% and all pro players who bought starter packs will purchase it in 2 days! A huge money flow for nexon and after that all of us forget this greedy price.

My whole point is that if you want to suck $50, at least give 4 villagers and also make them some special villagers. Such as they do same work in less time. Estate is just boring.

Nahh, the game is most and foremost about Skill. Any fancy 10% will not help you if you cant attack properly. I know people with IA accounts who can 5 star 175 global bases like a piece of cake.
Yes, those with Estate will have an advantage with faster upgrades, they will upgrade 25% orso faster than we do. But they pay for it, so why not? I will rather try to perfect my different army compositions on different type of bases. Sniper towers, lvl40 generals, lvl 6 coalitions, nothing can stop you if you love the game and want to be good at it.

Just Fight and have fun!

after they finish uni upgrades you must say same if you honest. game already became p2w thx uni. if i saw uni and estate one years age i didnt call my friends and family to this greedy company game. instead of fixing game they prefer force us buy non fair buy items. with estate+starter pack game cost a++ lvl. sry but thhis clearly show us BHG has no good will towards us.

It really has nothing to do with the $50 estate. It's about the trend which started from the university. Now I can clearly see the future of this game. So better quit now

Actually, a F2P game has to make sure that you can theoretically get all content by playing without spending real money. Yes, it might take ages to get the items, but it should be possible. Usually games do with via an in-game currency, which you could purchase with real money, but slowly by playing the game too. Dominations has an in-game currency too, crowns. Hence, items such as the Estate should be able to be bought via crowns. The starter pack 2 already departed from it, as 16 citizens are not obtainable without spending money.
I have played F2P games before that work exactly on such a premise and do very well (even for many years) and players are motivated enough to continue to spend money. A healthy game needs a base of players that spend money and a healthy amount of F2P participants to entertain those big spenders.
I think Nexon has forgotten that important balance. Unless the game is in its final stage, the 'cream them players until the game is taken off the grid' phase. It would be a shame as I only discovered this game in May.

I feel like this is the only game many people play and they've completely forgotten how the mobile gaming world works...its ALL about money! And news flash, thats how the WORLD works! My god do we have to do this every other month. Just leave if you don't like it, they are not doing anything wrong, at all. We may think it's a bad strategy but WTF should care, they are sitting with all the cards and all the data. If you still like the game then play it, if you can afford to spend the money then do it. If you've gotten to a point where you complain more than you play...well there is a massive universe of mobile games that would love to take your business, chew you up and spit you out, until you realize it's not one particular game but the whole industry that is greedy for profits.

While you are right with regards to games requiring spenders to sustain, not all need to go down the road of milking customers without addressing the most fundamental issues like network stability, troops AI etc. Nothing is new under the sun, and this game basically got its concept from 2 places 1) Civilisation which will be out in its 6th edition, a brand new game with new contents and this 2 years old mobile game has the nerves to charge 3 workers for the price of that 2) clash of clans, which has been around longer and from other who posted earlier, don't cost so much to get all their workers and are able work on more stuff at a time. Which of these games would be more successful and enjoyable for their players? While Dominations did have that edge for awhile by bringing 2 popular concepts together, they lost it long ago with their persistent bugs, inability to deal with cheaters, terrible customer support and losing touch with the ground.

Sorry, all these sound harsh but it's true for this mock CoC game with civ concept. The positive which remained for some time is that you do not need to get those starter packs to progress, as you can get those workers in later ages, downside is that you move slower. I'm sure many like me would be willing to buy starter packs to support this game and have done so, or to get those irritating blinking sales but worth its price from time to time. But estate changes all that, you can't get it without paying an exorbitant price for its worth, and it might be "necessary" for atomic age which they are aiming to roll out by end of this year.

To me, dominations is like a sinking ship with increasing gaping holes which they refuse or take their own sweet time to plug, the latest being stalemates and sandbag issues, only to sell more tickets and load more passengers before it finally sinks. The only problem it was never a luxurious liner in the first place, and those who have stuck with it for so long are rewarded with little treats from time to time (big huge loot?) to get this message, "pay up more, bugger".

"Trying to reduce the amount of people playing this game to stabilize the servers or what? I suppose its a good plan if thats the goal"

Had to lol with that comment, given their lack of commonsense it wouldn't surprise me if someone came up with that.

[Let's make the estate pricey, (and when I mean pricey like ppl quit pricey) we'll get the whales to spend a ton more, that way it will offset the majority of our players who've quit because lets b honest...who really likes players NOT spending $? And we'll save a bunch NOT updating our servers...genius]

I got to agree that both starter pack 1 and 2 were quite generous offer, as it oso added with some crowns.

But this estate only given 3 workers and at USD 49.99, thats really too much money unless it comes with 5-10k crowns.

I understand Nexon needed money or profit to run the non pay to play game, as it was full with crashed n bugs previously, but maybe i suggest Nexon to reconsider the price, add it with 5k crowns or so and of coz to reward discount to their existing buyers to keep the game rolling.

It's over priced like way over priced. But I still asked cs if they would sell me a second one. There's no other game out there that offers what this game does. But with that said nexon why not 20 bucks seriously. Or better yet how about 6 workers. We need more minions

There is a difference in "getting your money with quality content and good features" and "getting money from whales by selling them overpriced powerful stuff", you know?

Sponge, you dream your own dream? You can pay for crowns with money - you know that - and you can play very long time every day. I cannot see why you think Steini and other top players are cheaters? You bring a lot of negativ energy in the game. Enjoy the game or leave it. The support has checked all top accounts very often, the players are clean and motivated. Please respect other players. Many thanks.
