Obviously it's you who needs to wake up. We did the math here many times, it costs about $18000 to max out walls, and another $3000 to max out generals. Do you really think anyone would be that stupid to drop over 20k on a game?

sponge do you think nobody does that? You have a lot to learn about online games... I've seen far more small and silly games than this one, where people dropped more money than that on their game progress. Like, among high spenders, 50k is not rare. There are definitely people willing to drop that on a quality game like Dominations.

I started this little fun game THINK LIKE NEXON here:
https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexon...our-best-ideas

So I just decided to REALLY TRULLY THINK LIKE NEXON about estate and workers issue and try to explain to myself few things:
1. They just need money from estate to hire someone who can fix all those bugs. And because there are tons of bugs - they need tons of money to pay for fixing them ;) Wait for two more years and they will solve most of the bugs. Yes I know 2 more years of playing this oddly addictive game with all those bugs :(

2. Estate will not be cheaper. Otherwise people who already bought it, would start complaining so it will be another big thread on forum - why did I pay 50$ and weeks later u give it away for 20$ ;)

3. Estate doesn’t change the status of the game (except point 4 below) – it speeds up the progress.

4. To bring back balance to the game because of the estate building itself and thus paying players vs not paying - they just should let everybody to build estate (ie. for 500 gold). If u bought estate with workers u will have extra workers, if not u will have empty estate. But balance will be back (same number of buildings to destroy)

5. U know that with Atomic Age there's Starter Pack 3 coming with 2 workers anyway ;) Estate is just for paying players as an apology for false advertisement with starter pack 1 and 2 ;) They bought it because they thought it was available only with money, so now they give something that actually is available with money only. So all those paying players can feel better now. And those two are not comparable. Starter packs are not extra workers just faster access to them. Estate=extra workers forever!

6. They have all the data. And it looks like people like to build/upgrade things like in civilization games where u mostly build/upgrade and rarely fight. So they give us what we want.

7. They need to slow down the time of the game – with not enough workers we need to choose and we like to choose from a variety of choices. And yes, we will be sitting in every age for a year before moving to the next age. It’s not like CoC, Boom Beach, E&A, etc. ;) It’s all about the journey and not about the end ;)

8. In CoC the only thing u can upgrade on top levels are buildings and research. That’s it. Top players in CoC focus on maxing all walls but this is boring and Nexon knows this. That’s why they keep adding new stuff so we can do different things.

9. We need more workers because of building, gathering, uni-upgrades and now dock. This is false – we don’t need them for uni-upgrades, gathering and docks. We suppose to choose from all those things. About uni - they said it before and that’s what many of u like about university. Choose 1 or 2 paths in uni that suits your nation the best. Uni-upgrades are not meant to be all upgraded. Plus remember – new leaders are coming ;) Of course – paying players can upgrade them all but that’s not how uni is planned to work. Besides to fully upgrade it they would have to spent thousands of dollars, so it will be like a fraction off all players. If they can afford it then why not – they support the game for the rest of us. But uni-upgrades must be added to player EXP and count for better matchmaking. They also should be visible to all players to eliminate cheaters.

10. This is not the end, it's just a beginning - they know what people want - more workers. So by the time of Space Age we will have 30 workers and more buildings.

11. Universe created by Nexon is much bigger than in Clash of Clans and more engaging with more choices, that's why we like it ;) Yes, eliminating all bugs could help attract new players but... ;) Also more social features could help like:
-better chat options,
-possibility to donate/request resources/trade goods,
-global market for resources/trade goods (ie. like Hay Day),
-operations like in Boom Beach (or multiplayer campaigns),
-alliance perks (ie. like in CoC),
-and more war options - yes war replays first ;)

12. 50$ is equivalent for full console/PC game – this is true but when we compare prices of full games we compare them by the time it takes to finish them, ie. same price but: Call of Duty – 3hr single player campaign vs 4hr in Battlefield. How many hours u already spent and will spend in this game ;)

13. Should we let them overpriced us with estate. Nope, we must say what we must. Will it change anything – nope ;)

FYI I may agree or disagree with what I just wrote but I tried to THINK LIKE NEXON so those are not totally my thoughts and please guys don’t eat me ;)
Really sorry for long post :(

Nb4powerup could you just pass it through to Nexon developers, thx :)

I just noticed that the Estate is basically just a cut off portion of the left side of Versailles. Right down to the same bushes on the side and facade. Does that mean Versailles is the super Estate? hehe.

In the world of making money, it makes more sense to sell something at a perceived value to most people rather than an item that few people would consider reasonable. The only way this item makes sense at it's price is if the devs intend to make it feel necessary by most players. This seems to be the direction given the newest content. I have had no issues supporting the game up to this point. I have bought 4 starter packs(2 accounts) and several crown purchases. These purchases were very justifiable for me at the time since they were not large buys at one time. As an old mmo player, ~$10 a month is comfortable for a game I spend large amount of time on. The problem with that here is, this game isn't nearly as polished as those game that I paid a subscription for, and not nearly the amount of content. I was actually looking forward to purchasing the new estate when it was announced, assuming it was going to be similar to the starter packs which included crowns and much better pricing. The word that sums this up is value. I don't find that there is enough value in this purchase to justify it. There will always be those high rollers in all games like this, but this type of purchase does nothing for them anyways, as they just buy their progression. This seems to be targeted to the typical player like myself that will pay some, but can't afford to make large purchases. That's why this purchase makes no sense, people who don't drop large amounts of money will not buy this and that seems to be the targeted consumer. Hold a sale for double crowns instead of 20% and watch how much more revenue you make, because people will find more value in it. For the estate, reduce the price to 20-30, and I guarantee sales would go up x10. Where most people justify things according to what else they can purchase with that same dollar amount, I don't feel like paying full purchase price of a game for such an item. (Rant over)

Has it been confirmed that the Estate will never be available as an acquired/in-game option? Like in Cold War Age or something?

I agree that the price of the estate should have been in crowns. That's the norm for any freemium games I have ever played. I would probably spend the money to get the crowns but I would have the option of watching hundreds of videos and downloading games I don't want to pay for part or all of it.
