Time of course?! Everything requires almost 2 weeks for me to upgrade and research 😣

Cost will be ocassionally reduced at event discount.

It will help a lot specially for advanced ages. Make an event like this every few months would be great.

I don’t get why some think that the cost or time for upgrades is a problem. It’s the same for everyone. If they reduced the time, then everyone would advance more quickly, but since it is all relative why does that matter?

It will be extremely unfair to our high tier pay players. I spend 3 years and tons money(crowns) to get an end game base and u guys just wanted to finish it within a year for free. How ridiculous.

No, that doesn't sound right.
I think you're being too unfair to new players.

Well you have fun being the king of a rapidly shrinking mountain there, chief. People are getting tired of garbage war matching, absurd build times, cheating and various other long-term issues. Middle to heavyweight players are dropping out of wars or the game entirely and the few newbies who stick around to replace them will take years before they can ever even see your magnificent fortress. Something needs to be done. But don't worry, there won't be. Enjoy waving your e-peen around at the same handful of alliances and people until they pull the plug.

Time is money (or in this case crowns) That is how it has always been always will be in this game. The people with the maxed out buildings are there because they spent money (lots of money) to get there fast to have an advantage over the regular players. I have been playing non stop for over three years and I know how much money I’ve spent and I’m not nearly as big as most. As soon as it looks like I will start to catch up they release another age and the spending spree happens again. It has been this way the entire time this game has been around. Sure I would love to have events that discount time (I’d be crazy not to choose that) but if they do this what insentive is there for Spenders to spend? If the whales don’t spend, the big payday for Nexon come Age release will be a thing of the past. And if they don’t get paid then we won’t have a game. Sadly, with all the cheating that’s going on I fear this will happen anyway.

If they don't shorten the time to top age somehow, there won't be enough players in cold war to justify releasing a space age. The big spenders and early adopters will be playing on their own. Cold war hitting down to global was an acknowledgement that that is the last age with a wide enough player base for real gameplay.

There is a normal cycle for lots of products - early adopters spend the most, get all the glitches and issues, and are usually happy to be out in front. Then the bugs get worked out, the cost comes down, and everyone can get on board. The early adopters can keep buying the newest stuff for top dollar, but that doesn't mean the older things they paid for should stay as expensive as the day they bought them. The argument that times can't be shortened because the early adopters spent more doesn't match anything else in the real world.

Nexon has to find a way to grow their player base again if they want the game to continue. My opinion is that means they need to get brand new players to a point where they can participate in the top levels of the game in a reasonably short period of time. A max offense, decent defense global age base in 3 months without spending or excessive grinding for instance, with the ability to move up and be a weak atomic. When they release space age, adjust older times so the same thing is true for atomic.

That might tempt a lot more people to spend than the current condition. Get them hooked, let them see what the game is like where the active players are, and then maybe they will spend to move up to cold war. As it is now, a common thread on the dominations reddit is - I am in iron / classical / medieval age and NEVER have been attacked, does anyone play this game? No one should have to play for months before being attacked, if there are hardly any active bases down there compared to the abandoned ones, let people skip to the active ages very quickly.

Ok whoever wants to quit please get the F out and stop bitching please. If there’s no equality who is going to spend like 2 hours a day plus maybe 1000 bucks a year on this shit game? There’s a freaking reason why my levels are higher, and how is it fair that I play for 3 years and having the same fucking level as you because u can get a speed boost and do it for free? U guys are totally nonsense.

You have mentioned candy crush a few times - if you ever played it, you will have noticed that they make the new levels much harder as they release them, and then make them easier over time. People will stop playing if they get to the end too quickly, OR if they get stuck going nowhere for too long. So that game also has to find a balance between keeping long time players interested, and new players from getting frustrated

But if you think that the whales will provide enough revenue to keep the developers building this game, enjoy it until you realize they have stopped paying developers and you have paid to get to the top of a pile of abandoned bases in an abandoned multi player game.

If your real life persona is anything like your forum one I can see why you've spent so much time playing this game.

You should add an option: time and resources for any upgrades up to industrial age any discounted upgrades after industrial would be just resources

there is no need to make endgame easy and fully maxed industrial base can be easily competitive in MP/War
