Events!: Slightly incorrect goals

In "Events!" (specifically the currently running “Season 6: Countless Winters, Part 3”) in “Progress” -> “Prepare for battle!” you must complete "Train units (Bomber) at: Airfield".
Does it mean that I must lose the Bomber in battle in order to retrain this unit? Somehow it’s not very logical in the sense that you always try to save your units in battle.
Maybe it would be more logical to give rewards for the use of units in battle, rather than for losing them in battle and retraining them (restoring them)?

There's rewards for both 'retrain' and 'deploy your troops'. Troops die - all generals know that - that's why doing these events with instant retrain is the way to go.

With all due respect...

In any case, this is contrary to common sense, because it looks like “Well done! You lost a bomber in battle today - take your reward!” Some kind of nonsense... And it doesn’t matter whether it’s for instant dialing or not, but the goal itself is absurd.
And I understand perfectly well that some things in the game are already perceived “as is”, because it seems that even the shortcomings and errors in the game are viewed by the development team (or rather, task managers) as “this is not a bug, this is a feature”, and we have no choice but to agree.

Please understand me correctly. I don’t write posts to show “oh how bad everything is here”, on the contrary - I strive to make the game even better!

Training troops is as inevitable as looting resources - you can't have one without the other. Expecting troops to survive a battle unscathed is unrealistic - might as well get something for it.

The essence of the reward is the same - using a unit, but the time costs are completely different - either using (and saving) in battle - 3 minutes, or losing a unit and then restoring it (in this particular case, a bomber) - 1 hour. To me this is a very significant difference. If the battle is successfully carried out and units are saved in battle, I have the opportunity to conduct several more battles in the same amount of time.

The game generally has a very wasteful attitude towards the most valuable human resource - time! Or all the players here - the immortal McClouds and live forever - time doesn't really matter.

If we look at it honestly... Many of you have been in the game for many years - in long waits. I think many would be happy to go through the game again several times, build several cities, go their way in different ways than these long years - wait, wait, wait... But the owners of the game can be understood to some extent - If you don't want to wait - pay. But the same monetization in the game can be done a little differently - do some exclusive things with long waits, or paid ones, but do not delay the entire gameplay as a whole.

P.S. Joke to the owners of this game: rename the game in the DomiWaitions

There's an instant fix to this - Instant Retrain blessing. And it's free.
So no need to complain about a problem that doesn't need to exist.

There is a problem in setting the goal itself - I’m talking more about this than about possible ways to get around it with “less bloodshed.”

I completely feel for you. The bytes lost are just irreplaceable.

All joking aside, I just delete mine right before bed and retrain them. Poof. Done when I wake up and I get the training part done without worry about intentionally losing them.

I like when people come up with solutions than roadblocks. 😊

The game is so diverse that people even use "hacks" to get around some of the stupid things in the game. Commendable! (y) :D

This is not "roadblocks" in the game but the stupid goal 🤷‍♂️
That may be true but people are pushing forward with options or solutions, trying to help the community.
We can either ignore them or we can thank them and move on.
it's all depends how you approach a situation.

In the community people help each other - it's very gratifying! I’m not pointing out to people that there is such a “feature” in the game, but to the owners and developers of the game. Fortunately, there are workarounds to somehow cope with this.

I REALLY hope that the posts on the forum are read by the developments team, task-managers and owners of the game in order to ultimately make the game better and more enjoyable... and this is not just a place solely for the exchange of experiences between players.

P.S. You know, there is a category of “successful people” who itself create difficulties and problems for themselves, and then successfully overcome them 💪 :D So I wouldn’t want to be “successful in the game” in this very sense 🤷‍♂️ ;)
