Factory troops' balance

I write this post because there are huge inconsistencies with some factory troops:

- Armored car:
Why are Armored cars still the best units on defense? I mean, they can defeat any other unit just with their machine guns even though they should only be effective against infantry and resources. So, why are they so strong against high HP such as tanks?
Could you reduce their normal damage to make them just effective against low HP like units like infantry and resources? Reducing their speed should help too.

- MRL:
On the other hand, we can also find the opposite situation: Why MRL are so weak against buildings and other units? It's nonsense. They should have more range too.

- Bazooka:
It's one of the best units in the game, but they should have an attack bonus against helicopters to be realistic.

- APC:
It's a promising unit but I see them too weak especially now that heavy infantry don't attack enemy units. In some situations, you can see APC's dying alone to enemy units while their own infantry go straight for buildings. I don't know if an HP increase should be enough. Changing heavy infantry favourite target back to "any" would solve this problem.

What do you think?

I agree with your take on armored cars. I disagree with the apc, apc is now a pretty solid unit. I have used the troop and its really nice with all the artifacts buffs and such. It works for me as I am a romans player and my university buffs are there too. The simpliest way to protect apc from defenders is mortars, my favourite pick. If you have good ranged infantry and you know how to use them then yes u can use ranged infantry. But APC doesn't need anything in my opinion as of now. Its a balanced troop. Bazookas idea is your choice. Idk about that. MRL, this is a troop I have yet to try.

My stance on the APC is the same, it's fine as it is. That squishy-ness is a balance for what they do, which is dump troops on the ground, so ya gotta keep an eye on them and protect them. Changing the targeting on HI back to "Any" might unbalance them on that front.

MRL badly needs a range boost. Haven't worked with it too much, but that much is glaringly obvious. It's too slow an attack for how close it gets.

AC might still be king of the defense, but I think people need to look back at the Barracks again since the rebalance. Assault Vehicles, Siege, Mortar, Raiders...All got boosted and bring something unique to the defense mix.

artillery is my main damage troop, my museum buffs 40% main hall dmg and war hall 35% more damage. Deals damage same as HT or more over 7 range and over walls. Apc is my infantry producer and tanker. I decided not to invest in heavy cavalry and heavy tanks. I have some mortars and healers and some ranged troops ( I sometimes use zooks in stead of ranged troops ). These are good in higher ages as well. Atomic currently.
