True, this event has been quite disappointing, to be honest.
Players playing as French don't get the +3 alliance gate limit increase.
And, the Voltiguers army from the French consulate can be claimed only after the armies received as intermediate rewards have been used up in battle already.

An event should benefit players similarly. It's quite unfair to players in the same age and level for non French nations to get the benefit and the French to be left out. Overall this event wasn't great as we cannot stack up the Voltiguers even. We need to use them up before collecting again in 6 hours.

Top Tip for Devs: - play test your game before releasing updates or stop charging us for beta testing.

All French nations should get a crown compensation for this blunder.

Well, what should be a benefit of a French embassy in a French town? It works as intended. No benefit for French from a French Embassy. I don't get what is wrong with that.

Why would you ask for crown compensation? Did French players do anything differently with this event than without? I can't see French players speeding up troop training with crowns just to donate troops quicker - your training is already speeded up.

French nation did not get the extra 3 ally troop space as promised and given to the other nations. We played the event and didn't get the best part of the prize.

Seriously? They should have told us up front then shouldn't they? I wouldn't have wasted my time and my ally's troops on completing this event. Did Japanese not get ninjas? Did Chinese not get Kahn? This totally blows and you know it!!!!

If I were a french nation... but I'm not. I'm German. Soooo....hehehe

Actually.... I wouldn't mind if I got a troop of french maids myself. To clean up all the mess I leave behind.
