Game feels so empty do we think alliance wars will change things?

Maintenance won't fix the problem; server side fixes (that may or may nor require maintenance) or client updates are more likely. Believe me, if bringing the game down for an hour would fix this particular issue, it's something we would consider. Unfortunately, it will not.

You are totally right ironangel, I was only referring to android platform.

But it definitely makes a difference 100+ or 5+ million downloads. So there is an obvious difference in popularity.

Looking at the much smaller player base and the reasonably live forum dominations has, I'd say start listening to the biggest addicts of your game....
