Getting attacked while having a shield

I had ca 2,5hr left on a 4hr shield and then I got attacked (no I didn't do an attack myself...).
Has this happened to anyone else?

Luckily the guy who attacked failed miserably...

Usually after server mainenance everyone lose his or her treathy. I lost my 3 or 5 days treathy more then once already by this joke bought by crowns.
