Greetings Leaders,

We have an update coming to the Leaderboards that will introduce a glory decay to inactive alliances on the leaderboard. We’ve been taking a look at how competition has been settling in regards to glory, in doing so we found that perhaps we could encourage an additional competitive drive for Alliances. Our goal here is to keep the leaderboards competitive and active, as we’re seeing situations where inactive alliances are able to hold their current positions.

We’ll continue to monitor and adjust the Leaderboards to ensure that it generates a positive experience and that it entices even more Alliances to break into the top ranks of the Alliance Leaderboard!

I've suggested for years for there to be glory decay every week on a random day. If your alliance hasn't warred in over a week, then it isn't active and shouldn't keep its glory.

Leaderboards should be reflective of currently active alliances, not has beens.

I fully agree. And I would say more... Some players are migrating from alliances seasonally to place more and more fake alliances at the top of the scoreboard and grossly taking glories from other alliances. This also makes the main and secondary alliances never face each other. This type of behavior is unethical and migration and irregular use of alliances should be blocked. Some players just don't play fair and that couldn't be accepted.

The glory decay should be monitored daily, if let us say 4 days no war, lose a few hundred, then the decay should increase exponentially for every 2 day

What's the criteria being used for the glory decay? Is it going to be a regular thing? I really hope so.

Changes in the global leaderboard in glory can already be seen. The question that remains is: which inactivity criterion is being adopted?
2 months?
1 month? 2 weeks?
1 week?
2 days?
I understand that the change is very welcome, but the criteria should be highlighted.

How does the alliance leader board / glory effect the game play?

Thank you very much. We are seeing a lot of positive work these days. Dominions is a great game that we expect to get better and it is being done. We wish you more success.

Some players(one team),move to theire unactived alliances that empty for over than 5-6 month, and made a ww in 2-3 past days.
They are probably hearing something about the Glory fraction and looking to make an appearance.
But,CS monitore them.its so good.
game need to active players and active alliances and fair play.
Again,big thanks for BHG

I think if an alliance loses a war on either time or destruction, the losing alliance should not lose any glory. The winner still gets the glory awarded.

You did it right and pls repeat this action regularly. I think every 14 days including teams not having a war in this two weeks is appropriate, one week is really close. Also reduce the glory for all teams with less than 10 players in independent from the time since last war.

Only the knowledge that you are taking care will prevent that Teams are abusing alliances.

The arses bunch already announced that they will move between teams every war and that they want to do the same as they did the last year. Well, let’s see if they find enough players to sit around at the not waring alliances.

Why? You want to cover the decay strategy? Best thing is if nobody knows it and if BHG is repeating it every couple of weeks. Reading all the crying complaints from the arses bunch shows that BHG did it right. Also some other teams were catched which aren’t warring regularly.

From a short look on the teams catchend BHG sanctioned alliances which haven’t warred regularly and alliances with less then 10 accounts in. And this is the right logic.

yes, BHG MUST run the glory decay very often. that will prevent
- the leaderboard from becoming the joke it was the past months and
- teams going from one alliance to another (lower ranked) and stealing glory

What I want to know is if it's a "strategy" or a policy of rules. I would also like to know what is the inactivity timeout to apply the decay. I'm very glad they cleaned up the rankings, but I'm aware of alliances that have lost their glories by just being on a brief break from alliance restructuring. And it wasn't a smooth drop... It was somewhere around 35%. An alliance that plays fair and without malice.

Screw the glory points altogether. Wars haven’t been balanced ever since that feature was introduced, massive amounts of alliances have stopped warring ever since. Soon only the alliances in the top 100 will be the only ones still fielding war teams, unless BHG ever decides to fix their matrix in matching up teams.

🔹🔹🔹️ I think for avoid abuse from some ! Alliance,we need 2 item ;
1-Limit the number of times a player can enter a specific alliance.(or ww).
They migrate from one alliance to another like migratory birds.of course they are not bird.they are abuser.

2-fix alliance name.
do you ever see countries change name each day?Allance name is fix in all game exept dominations.so, leaders change name when they cheat in "time" ,when they need curse opponet &...
So,close change name for alliance.

Sorry for the delay in response, but I would like to confirm that Glory Decay is here to stay. We'll continue to monitor and make adjustments to make sure that it continues to work as intended while supporting a fair and competitive environment.
Why were active warring teams affected by the glory decay? That should have been only applied to inactive teams. Can you give the broad strokes of the guidelines used to decide which teams get hit with the glory decay?

The team has gone through several checks on the Glory Decay to ensure that it is working as intended, no one has been wrongfully hit by the decay's parameters.

I apologize but I can't go into details on what those parameters are, an alliance won't be affected for a single parameter and must meet all of them to be impacted by decay.

I hope this helps, but if you think that there has been a mistake in the decay please do submit a ticket to our CS team here so we can reevaluate and make corrections as necessary.

Well, if they were inactive for around two weeks the decay was right, imho. I know a few, low number, cases, were alliances have warred a couple of days before decoy but most of the players moved to another team. Decoy is right here also, cause that’s the way to stop jumping around as a whole team.
