It seems like the majority agrees that guerrilla has potential but is hard to include in a regular army. Because it dies pretty easily to traps, you would need to pack several of them. But because they take so many troop spaces, we can't afford that. And the end result is that it barely get used. So it may need some rebalancing to make it usable and a little bit more popular.

But I agree that it could be overpowered if it gets buffed too much. But there could be a balance to be found. Maybe a troop space of 10 or 12 would be fair? For me it's roughly similar to tanks in the number of defense buildings it can take down before dying. Except it dies much faster, gets instantly killed on spike traps, and goes out of reach of supply carts.

For me sabateur almost same troop capacity as 2 cannons but requires babysitting in terms of rally and biplanes to keep alive

The guerillas also shoot at defenders. Once one of mine got attacked by defenders. He blew up the tower and started shooting at the defenders. So I guess in defense they can shoot also.

So reviving this post. :)

I am upgrading my factory and I will have the Guerrilla available soon. I didn't fing the Gatling Gun so much appealing and I didn't use them at all. The guerrilla seems very interesting and I am tempted to swap one artillery by a Guerrilla.

I have read the posts before, and seems like they are not worth it, but the posts have more than two years old. My question is, have anything changed from that time - I started playing Domination a year ago? Is anyone still using those units? How do you employ them on you army composition? How do you use them?

I am industrial age now, and have a troop space of 130 at the moment - I will finish my 2nd barrack in 2 days, and start the last one after that.

Thanks in advance for the input. :)

They are still vulnerable to a single spike trap, and are very slow. Shinobi are far superior, as they move quickly and can avoid most of the defender fire.

That is the reason why I revived it. To know if it is still useless or not. ;)
