Have the French Tanks been nerfed ?

I upgraded to industrial age sometime back and upgraded my cavalry units to tanks. I play the french nation so when I upgraded to tanks I took a screen shot of the health and damage of the tanks which read 17160 hitpoints and 391 damage (no blessings activated). I later upgraded my university and researched Saladin for bonus tank damage and hitpoints. Saladin is currently upgraded to +24% damage and +21% hitpoints for tanks. however the current reading for my tanks are 19932 hitpoints and 447 damage. the actual reading should be 20763 hitpoints and 485 damage. Have the french tanks been nerfed ?

No, they haven't been nerfed, you forgot to take into account the library.

I have taken into account the library and Versailles bonus. Line I said above. The screenshot taken when I first got my tanks showed that the hitpoints were 17160 and damage was 391. That's including all the library research done prior to getting to IA

The percentage gets added to the base number. The stats without any research applied from library or uni. Not to the current number
basically you take all the percents from Versailles, library, and uni add them together then apply to base stat. That will get you the same stats as shown
base stats from wiki are 13,200 hp 288 dps

Hey Wilson, I had not taken that into consideration. So based on what you said the Versailles gives a bonus of 10% hitpoints and chivalry library research gives a bonus of 10% hitpoints and 10% damage. Not sure if I'm missing out on anything else.

If you reduce the base hitpoints and damage (without research) from the screen shot I took when i got to IA that would be 17160 less 20% for hitpoints and 391 less 10% for damage. So that gives us a new base of 14300 hitpoints and 355 damage.

Now if we add up all the library research, Versailles bonus and uni research the hitpoints should increase by 41% and damage by 34%. Which should still come up to 20163 hitpoints and 476 damage. It still does not add up.

Is there anything else that I'm missing ? I remember seeing the damage reflecting correctly at some point when doing the damage uni research but after the last patch something isn't right.

I have a sneaky suspicion (sorry can't prove it), that all their counters are wrong (or at least not working precisely as advertised) in some form or other. Biggest example I could find: the gathering blessing achievement counter.

Hitpoints:
Maybe you have ignored one of the 2 Library researches which are buffing the hitpoints by 10%. Thus the base hp of a French tank is not 14300.
The basic French tank has 13200 hp (normal tank has 11000 hp, French raise is 20% 11000*1.2=13200)

Now you apply all the buffs (first add the raise values up):
10% (Versailles)
10% (Lib - Chivalry Chapter 1)
10% (Standing Army Chapter 4)
21% (Saladin)
it is 51% in sum
now 13200*1.51=19932 (exactly the value you have posted)

Now the original value you had without Saladin was:
Base hp: 13200 hp
10% (Versailles)
10% (Lib - Chivalry Chapter 1)
10% (Standing Army Chapter 4)
it is 30% in sum
so 13200*1.3=17160 (confirmed)


The same shall go with the dmg, Im sure.

Here's my French ARL-44 stats -- 24,024 hp/602 dps, no blessings up. Chivalry from library is +10% health and damage. My uni is only 5/10 on damage, nothing done on health. Domi wiki says 26,254 hp, my alliance mate said the tank he got from me had 26,266 dps (not sure what wonder he has, uni skills done, etc). Either way, i need to know AA French tank base stats coz i think something doesn't add up

My arl44 with max uni, library, Versailles, no blessings has 32232 hp and 669 dps. If you want i can donate 1 to our young ages and get those stats

Let's look at the base stats for the top 4 Ages's worth of French Tanks!

Each bonus is calculated off of these base stats. So, if you have a +10% damage bonus on the R35 Tank (from the Library) it would give you +33 DPS. If you wound up getting another +10 damage to its damage later on, it would again add +33 DPS, and not a value based on the new damage.

TinSoldier - Would be good if you (or someone) can update base stats of all troops after all the nerfing/buffing you've done. Put it in a sticky that can be updated the next time you nerf (the British troops) or buff (the Greeks/Chinese troops). Thanks.

Hope i am not diverting the topic. but i have something interesting to show. I received a picture from one of my alliance troop members, showing the stats of tanks that he received as donation. Both pictures were take at a time gap of 1 minute between them and surely no library/university upgrades were running/completed during this duration. How i know this is because when he shared the first picture, i couldnt believe it. so i asked him to remove the current alliance troops and request again.

The pictures stunned me. pls have a look.

@martyr That screenshot isn't taken 1 minute apart from another. If you look behind the tank specs, you can see Nexon's promotional sales, which are way different. Also the medals are different, level, gold amount, victory chest and peace treaty.

Anyway armor and weapon blessing are 33% buff HP and DPS so if you calculate the DPS from the first screenshot you get the DPS from the second screenshot.
440+145(33%)=585

Good eyes! Even if it was a 31 hour gap (from the crown offer 12d5h to 10d22h), one can reasonably assume that no upgrades that specifically buffed tanks could have been completed, so it had to have been the blessing. Well done!

Here, let's see if we can figure this out. I'm back-calculating from the stats of my St. Chamond Tank (IA level)

So if some other nation posts their tank HP stats, we can verify if it matches. Expectation: a non-buffed regular tank should have 11440 HP if the buffs are summed, and around 10743 HP if the buffs are stacked. If someone else has everything except the French buff, then they should have a tank HP of 14300, and so on.
