How did you lose medals?

There's so much talk about losing medals lately l was curious what the different circumstances amongst players might be.

I've personally lost medals because of the new battle timer glitch: enter the battle but end without deploying troops, still lose medals.
People are saying they've lost medals when crashing during wars - which is just fubar .....!
Some people are saying they're losing medals in neither of these scenarios.

I'd like to know what your particular scenario is/was. Share it here.

I am gaining medals by barely playing at all. I think this is the key to success. The less you play the better you do. I am now attempting to play a negative amount, creating a vacuum which will return the time I have spent on the game while also awarding me with numerous medals. This is the transcendent path to the wheel of enlightenment.....

I took out a peace treaty before we went into war day. My Alliance medals are going up and down but tc page remains the same. I think it is tied to war for me. If your attacked in war or lose in war you lose medals on the alliance page. Best advice.. If you war.. get peace treaty and screen dump tc page and alliance gate page. See what happens. They cannot say you were attacked in ordinary battle because you are on a peace treaty.

We war constantly so hard for me to tell if it's a war related issue. We are now up to 12-15 members that all say they went to bed(some were on a PT some were not), wake up the next morning to find they magically lost 100 medals overnight having either never been attacked (for those on PT) or attacked once for a minimal loss. This has happened to a few of us multiple times (up to 4 it seems).

I know your tying to be funny here, but there seems to be thousands of players who put a lot of time, money, and effort into their progress. To have months of work wiped out in a blink of an eye only to get a laughable response that make no sense from CS ...try to put yourself in their position... Too soon my man, too soon..

The ''spinning'' wheel of enlightenment ... ??!

But I remember gaining medals without even playing - it was a happy time during the 800-1400s!!

Hopefully more people will post here and Seraphine can get an idea of the scale of this issue. Don't forget to send info, screenshots, logs, whatever to CS as well. Yes, yes, I know .... but it's better than not sending them the info, right?

I had 80 medals just "disappear" over the weekend. No attacks in the log, and they disappeared in 8 hours (went to bed, got up 8 hours later, medals were gone). One of our alliance members had 200 disappear in similar circumstances. Frustrating.

United Allies 2 was hit hard with medal losses from Thursday to this morning, we fell from top ten to 32 in 2 days.

It started for me during a 4 star multiplayer victory that crashed on completion, on returning I found I had been under attack for 2 minutes. But, I couldn't get back for 3 hours by which time the PT was up. I complained and received 100 crowns but had not recognised the real impact. I had dropped 12 positions overnight and found during that 15hr PT I had lost 120 medals. The alliance gate table was also running different numbers but recording the medal wins. Then the wheel of death hit me during a discussion in chat box and i came back to another loss of 80 medals but the figures reflecting the alliance gate number. Then after my second battle in a war I lost another 50 medals, since that time the losses have stopped - at present down 250 medals on glitches.

One player was losing medals as we were coming in and out of wars. Another was on a long PT and lost medals while chatting. Yesterday afternoon was particulalrly gloomy as about 25% fell from empire to kingdom without any single cause. Overall I would guess about 75-90% of our players have lost between 50 to 300 medals over a three day period. Many of those while carrying PT's.

I would add the poor responses by the CS as the situation worsened only aggravated feelings among players. Granted they were overwhelmed with complaints but some were simply crass. There is a big consensus among many players that if this is not resolved satisfactorily they will pack up. The alliance motto is: Nexon fix or we quit

The 100 crowns was for the battle loss and inconvenience. The medal loss was registered on Friday the next day and has received barely an acknowledgement from CS and they wiped the message trail this morning after I pressed 'no'. I kept copies. This morning I claimed my money back from Apple because I sense Nexon don't want to address this latest problem. Apple paid immediately with an apology for Nexon's behaviour - now that was nice.

Yeah, Apple (or Google in my case) are great and responded immediately. Their CS know how to deal with people. And super friendly too.
Nexon have a serious issue at the mo' - it would be great if they just sucked it up, admitted they have issues & took it on the chin. Even if they said they don't know how long to fix it but if they went on the front foot and made an announcement, said sorry & that they sympathise with all of us ..... well, at least l would respect that.

I sense we are facing that complex culture of being unable to lose face or confess to a problem. Pushing problems on to consumers and avoiding issues is a common practice among certain Far East concerns. Accepting a loss is tantamount to a kamikaze moment for the person in charge - not recommended in the Tokyo school of management handbook.

Trust me, the CS reports with screenshots and info are quite helpful as they are all passed onto the dev team. :) They are looking into this issue now!

I sent screen grabs and explained I was on a peace treaty. I told them I warred and the losses seem to be from that on the alliance page but not tc.

What do I get.. A response that inferred someone force quit whilst attacking my TC. They ignored totally that I was on a peace treaty so no one could attack me. I even sent war battle grabs to show where the losses occurred. All ignored. Why oh why do they not listen. I am really unhappy about this major problem. I am a PAYING customer..not a crown generating cheater. If this is not acknowledged as a real problem affecting paying customers then I am sure Apple will be interested because no one is taking ownership of the problem.

I had a battle this morning, won 3 medals, started my army retrain, logged off, logged on again to find my medal count reduced by 100.... Contacted CS numerous times, with screenshots, received generic responses which don't even acknowledge the problem. If the medal system is now unstable what hope is there of making any medal progress. It took me a long time to get to 1979 medals now reduced to 1879 without reason.

Had intended this as a comment but I see they get sidelined, so here is an open statement to Seraphine:

The problem Seraphine, is that the players no longer trust you or the development team or Nexon. Many players are long term who pay a lot of money but are not fools to be phobed off with robotic messages or your 'trust me' missives. Many in my circle of friends are highly intelligent, hard working professionals who enjoy the comradeship and potential of the game during their leisure time but now the game is failing them badly. Being told its our connection issues is to insult your clientele, while giving a player a 100 miserable crowns for the loss of 50 medals when each medal lost represents a hard earned battle is plainly crass, and in many ways objectionable. To be smashed by a cheat, report it, and receive some nonsense message about client privacy is plainly absurd. The sheer numbers of cheats due to your development team's complacency shows how little protection is shown towards the client body. Ultimately, the whole medal side of the game needs to be reviewed and managed differently - its not merititious, it has simply become money spent or cheat crowns.

Nexon have lost the plot and this latest fiasco of losing players' medals will be a real test of how much care is shown to the client-player base. The glitch between war and multiplayer - the loss of medals while participating in war - highlights how deep the problems have become. In removing the loop of the 'false close' problems have emerged at an increasing rate - yes, some of us do track the functionality of the game. By adding events to a general process of age expansion has ensured these problems have migrated throughout the game. Nexon needs to recognise that players do not accept the general willingness to take large amounts of money for crowns while delivering an increasingly inferior product.

Nexon needs to understand why people are becoming angry and how far they are now prepared to go to get satisfaction. Time is money and the game is money, if these costs of relaxation include frustration and dissatisfaction then the game is finished. I for one have agreed with my provider that no more money will be given to crowns until the game functions properly, and Nexon have made a powerful statement of restitution. If after losing almost 250 medals due to glitches during PT and war leads to a paltry 100 or 300 crowns I for one will move on, and believe many of the other 75% of my alliance who suffered will be joining me. If positive restitution isn't made, with due care for the clientele, there will be a large number of players moving to other games. I really do hope Nexon heed these warning signs because while we really enjoy this game, we are all now at a breaking point.

My Peace treaty came to an end..did 3 battles and won them all..I applied a 1 day peace treaty and went shopping..came back and found I had been stripped of over 60 medals to match the inaccurate Alliance page medal count. Those medals cost time and crowns..well over 1000 crowns..real money. I only get them one at a time. So Nexion have stolen my medals and call it an inconvenience. I call it misappropriation of my assests and suggest that Apple and the like investigate whether they are fit and proper persons to run something where money is involved.

I am one very angry customer who went out of their way to provide evidence of the problem and from where it stemmed. Ultimately the customer is the loser here and Nexion does what Nexion does...blame the customer.

I don't bother reporting this to cs anymore, because all I get are canned responses. I've lost medals so many times, and every time I reported it, I got nothing. It seems Nexon/BHG outsourced the cs to some Indian call center and doesn't give a damn about paying customers anymore. And to add insult to injury, all we get on this forum is that devs are looking into the problems. Too bad none of the problems are getting solved.

I second what Philipos said. I am sitting around 3000 medals, have lost over 100 during the last week due to multiplayer battles loosing network connection/crashes (and I can assure Nexon it is not my network). I spend crowns to re-train. Re-training to earn 100 medals costs a lot more than 100 crowns. 100 crown compensation is a slap in the face. Please fix the game Nexon, otherwise I will need to look for another hobby. This sentiment is also echo'd by the other 40 members in my alliance.
