How did you lose medals?

There's so much talk about losing medals lately l was curious what the different circumstances amongst players might be.

I've personally lost medals because of the new battle timer glitch: enter the battle but end without deploying troops, still lose medals.
People are saying they've lost medals when crashing during wars - which is just fubar .....!
Some people are saying they're losing medals in neither of these scenarios.

I'd like to know what your particular scenario is/was. Share it here.

I need help guys - I just spent a lot of time upgrading this be hugely disappointed - why doesn't global age demolition with extra damage from the library destroy Industrial Age mortars ?

Global? Dude, dont waste your time with demolitions - use planes!

my planes are only mk2 but I do have blimps and paratroopers - but I just don't understand why they would do that - my demo is 2530 but IA mortar buildings are 2544
