How does Wall break work?

Hello all, I am wondering, how does the Wall Breaker (veteran/engineer), actually works?

I mean, I'm not so sure even having used them. They do their first attack as a mass bomb attack, and then what? They do normal damage? They don't do any additional "bomb" attack?

I can see the logic behind this, it sets an explosive charge once, then don't have anymore, so it does regular damage?

In that case, in your experience, do you use them in regular armies, other than calv/moto raiders? They survive often enough? Or not? When to deploy them?

They first attack the nearest wall that protects a building. After the one wall attack, they will attack whatever building is closest using a normal attack (which is quite weak). They often do not survive, but are useful.
