How long does it usually take for Customer Service to respond to issues?

It's been like three days now, since I contacted customer service (in-game) and they said they would "look into it," and my village still looks barren - i.e. the game refuses to let me do anything. All the forest are clear, I have no villagers, the shop has no tabs, I can't build houses. I am not sure if I should cut my losses and delete the game and walk away, which is sad because it looks like a really good game, from the 30min I was able to play. If the issue can't be fixed, is there a way to delete the game and just start over new? Playing on a Nexus 5, on Android 5.1
