If one mercanary member is killed the complete mercenary army is gone

After every fight I loose the complete mercenary army if only one of the mercanary in the mercanary army dies. Is this a bug? I have to recrute after every fight the complete mercanary army. This is not the same issue with the normal army .

when you place the merc army flag ALL the mercs come out to fight so yes they will all be lost. you cant simply place a single merc army.

Wait, you're saying that your mercenary army will still be there if you don't lose the fight?

sorry let me clarify, your merc camp can hold a number of armies. anywhere from 1 to 5.

when you place your merc flag in battle all the armies you hired at the camp will deploy. so if you had 3 different armies, all 3 will deploy eg 1 elephant, 6 archers, 6 spearmen.

once they have been deployed for that battle they are lost no matter what. so you can only use them for 1 battle much like donated troops.
