What now Nexon? I get an error saying ''illegal program detected ...'' when starting Dominations then it closes again. Sometimes the game plays for a few minutes before shutting down. What else can go wrong ...?

Anyone else getting this message?

I have read what xigncode details are. And i totally agree that it is a idea and much needed. However it is obviously reporting a false app as I do not have anything loaded on my phone that has any hacking ability at all. Now I am unable to play. A bit annoying as I have just started to buy crowns and now I am locked out. Seems a bit suspicious to me. But not in the way xigncode I'd detecting. Rather than accepting my money and then not letting me play. Come on Nexon you must have some control over there issues and yhe abbility to let legitimate players play.

Since today i have the same problem, i have a unrooted original HTC One M8 and i got the same message. Either there must be something wrong with xingcode (some update from their side). Or a well known Android program update might cause this all of a sudden.

Last 2 updates i had was "Google Play Games" and "DU Speed Booster"

So now you want to tell me what software I can have installed on my own phone and force me to remove software that has nothing to do with you. Well it's not going to happen and I'll be getting a refund back from Google. I'll also be notifying all of my gamer friends to avoid this game. How about you hire some decent developers to stop the hacking instead of ruining the game for people that don't hack it.

I urge everyone else affected by this to complain to Google or Apple and request a full refund. No game has the right to tell you what software you are allowed to have installed in your phone.

I'm glad I came here. I was just about to spend some cash on Crowns. Won't be wasting my money on a game that's not kept up, after seeing all the threads on obvious cheaters, people being screwed out of money, etc.
It's getting increasingly difficult to find a mobile game that doesn't have these issues. Devs and such just don't seem to care, and neither does Google, etc, either, apparently. I guess I should've been a developer, easiest way I've seen to scam people out of money with no repercussions, seemingly.

I can now get back on.  It would appear that it was one of two things or both.  The Google play games app.  I uninstalled the updates and turned off the auto update feature.  That or the latest update on dominations that just come out. Nothing else has changed on my phone at all.

There is one big problem with XIGNCODE3. Any app that uses it may possibly not work without needing other apps removed and Google Play Terms state "Apps must not encourage, incentivise or mislead users into removing or disabling third-party apps except as part of a security service provided by the app.". Since games are not a security service they need to work without the need to remove other apps. If this is allowed by Google then it opens the floodgates for loads of other apps to not work unless other apps are removed.

BHG are refusing to compensate for any lost gold food or resources because of their error with the xigncode issue. They state it is used and our apps when clearly it is them and a lack of testing with standard Google Apps. This is a sad case of a developer not admitting they stuffed up because if they did they would have to compensate for our loses.

Xigncode3 isn't a standalone mobile app, and also not available from the Google Store, therefore not applicable to Google's terms of service.
Technically, Xigncode3 is middleware, which means that it acts a bridge between your device and the DomiNations game server.
Even if it was subject to Google's terms of service, Xigncode3 would fall under the security service exception.

I have been playing this game for some time and am up to level 111 in the Enlightenment Age. I have been playing on the same device for ages and all of a sudden it is deemed to be suspicious? This is ridiculous. I am also a software engineer and understand that sometimes mistakes can be made. I am in the same position as Mobgod here. Is Nexon going to fix this and let us play again or are they leaving us out in the cold? I just want an answer one way or the other.

BTW Dominations is failing to load on both my Android devices. One was rooted to allow me to increase the headphone volume, the other has never been rooted. Clearly rooting is not the issue, so some investigation is required to sort this out. If you don't know what is causing the problem then roll the software back to the last stable version and let us continue playing until you sort your software out!

FIX
Till the devs will respond I ve found a temporary fix for Android.

Go to your app settings. (dominations)
clear data & clear cache.
Delete any apk modifier app like lucky patcher, sb game hacker etc.
Restart your phone
And open dominations and let it update

Hope it works

And if you've done that, and don't have those apps - and never had them - and it still doesnt fix the problem ...... any suggestions then?

I can confirm it's caused by another game. i reinstalled my phone, with root. worked fine with Dominations and i played for a while, then i reinstalled all my other games back on it, and the error came back.
I wasn't in the mood to uninstall my games 1 by 1 to see which game exactly caused the error. however this is the list i had installed before the error came back.
If you have this problem too and have any of these games installed that you see below, try to uninstall it and start Dominations again.

Code:
Jungle Heat
Hero Sky
Empires & Allies
Iron Desert
Vikings: War of Clans
March of Empires
Clash of Kings
Age of Lords: Legends & Rebels
Empire Z
This Means War!
Cloud Raiders
Army of Heroes
Tribal Rivals
Might and Glory
Samurai Siege
War of Glory-1943
Mobile Strike
Family Guy : The Quest for Stuff
Simpsons : Tapped Out

Really wish they could fix this! XIGNCODE3 error on a non rooted Huawei Mate 7! Worked fine for ages then just stopped. Not cool, and support team was not very helpful, and when I asked if they could keep me updated about the issue they bluntly said NO. I work in support, and if I assign something to our dev team I keep the client updated WRT the progress. Please ix this issue.
