I wanted to drop you a note and let you know that you have an amazing game here. You've created a wonderfully intricate experience, and I've enjoyed playing over the past few months. It's just too bad you have effectively taken the game away.
Not long ago, I could raid a town, then use an animal blessing while I trained the few troops I had lost. Then I'd get another raid in before the animal blessing wore off. After a few rounds of this, I'd give my workers some tasks and sign off for the night. It was a fruitful and enjoyable couple of hours.
After your recent changes, I now lose my entire fleet after almost every battle. It takes 45 minutes to retrain them all, with nothing to do during the downtime. The animal blessing doesn't even last long enough to stock up the mercenary camp anymore. There are enough side tasks to keep me occupied for a few minutes or so, but certainly not 45.
I'm not going to just sit here and stare at my town, wiggling the screen every couple of minutes to keep it from timing out, which somehow still drains the battery more than any other app, so I close the game and find somewhere else to spend my time. When I eventually return, I've been attached a few times and lost more loot than my one attack had gained!
Over the past couple of weeks, I've actually gone backwards in loot. I have workers standing around because I can't save up enough to give them jobs to do. You have literally limited my playing time and forced me to look elsewhere for my entertainment.
I would love to stay and keep playing. However, you, the developer of the game I enjoyed playing, have taken away the enjoyment. I'm going to keep the app on my phone and watch for updates, but there's just no point in playing anymore. And that is utterly disappointing.
