They've always been thinly populated ever since April - I tried to join many times but the original CAPTCHA kept blocking my IP address. Then after the spam attacks kept getting 'Disabled by the Admin' on the register page. So a bit like the game, maybe a lot of patience and persistence is needed to join.

As for the 'Views' which anybody can see - that's a mystery, unless there aren't that many people playing as we think.

I have used the built in "anti addiction tool" for the game as well.

I was getting obsessed with the game but the longer update times have meant I can get a bit more balance again. Thank you developers.

Not playing frequently has meant I have less interest in the forums. No offence forum buddies.

I check almost weekly now.

Phone app game forums are always quiet. This is actually very active a good sign especially if people are having problems registering. Im sure coc has more activity but that games huge

If anyone talks or discusses any strategies of playing the game that doesn't comply to dbukalski's way of playing... they are automatically labeled a n00b or playing the game wrong.

Firedancer, devs kinda failed to deliver 'turtle' gameplay and animal blessing nerf probably was the last nail into that strategy.

Also, they failed with balance, so there are very limited ways to achieve +\- the same goals which are loot/medals.

So, don't blaim dbuk, may be he's not even a human, but a cyborg executing the most optimal choices it's up to devs to bring back variety of competitive strategies.

The players who played before "global" release and used to post on forums left(and presumably quit or play casually in game) already. The updates and bugs or higher age grind also made several users leave.

Not until armies are balanced again. Cheaters situation is the same. Old ones replaced with new ones like rusdi

Our alliance is still very active, but I agree the forums are getting less active. The lack of reasoned feedback from the developer doesn't help.

it's up to devs to bring back variety of competitive strategies.

There are certainly a lot of missed opportunities with this game - when you see how popular games like SimCity and HayDay are, this potentially had both city builder and farming along with combat.

Well, that heyday farms is a totally different story. May cause brain boil out.

But if you look at their 'Brandenburg gate' posting its has 3 just comments, two of which say hey r useless. )))

Computer farming certainly does frazzle the brain - but I had to do it to keep my 5 yr old happy - they don't teach basic economics at kindergarten yet, and she wanted the Candy Machine at which point we quit playing

Moved on to My Singing Monsters

But these 'builder' games are popular, but are all plague with the same flaw, there is only one upgrade path that just gets slower and more expensive, and is usually just involves doing more of the same, over and over and over..... until you just can't be bothered and quit.

This game does have the economic side to it, but it's useless, the advice is don't bother upgrading farms/caravans past lvl7 or whenever they take more than 8-12 hours, much more profitable to keep workers free to shoot bears (except for the last 4 days I haven't seen any wandering about - another quiet nerf perhaps?)
