James Cook event not counting NTGs correctly

I just completed my first attack in the event. Got a diamond and 3 NTGs, but the event tracker only gave me 2 points instead of 4.

Anyone else notice this?







Those are the 4 attacks where I earned diamonds and NTGs. Adding them up (counting the 5* diamonds), I should be at 15 for the event. It currently says I'm at 10.

Which National Trade Goods did you receive?
Also, which related University research have you completed?

Probably the same crap code that counts trade goods for the goals. It counts the number of different trade goods, instead of the total number. For example 2 diamonds and 2 fur count for only 2 trade goods, not 4.

On the bright side, claiming NTGs and diamonds from inventory counts, and I have 100s of them.

In my first two battles it counted everything correctly (3 NTGs, two the same, + 3 diamonds = 6, and 2 NTGs (same), 2 diamonds = 4 for total of 10)

that said the event seems really hard to finish. getting to 600+ for global in 5d (is this event shorter than usual?) with an average that will probably approach ~3/per since not all battles are 5star or give NTGs is A LOT OF BATTLES!

It appears the event is not giving credit for NTGs or Diamonds earned if your inventory is already full. Is it possible that is what you are seeing?

I am positive the goods are not counted correctly. I have a feeling that only diamonds are counted. I do have the storehouse full but it should not matter.

On on a different note, getting only 1 troop card for level 3 achievement is measly. I am not bothered with food and gold.

3k+ to complete in cwa. That's a ridiculous number. Totally impossible for any player in 5 days.

That could be the case yemen. I was full on a few of the NTGs. I'll keep track of the ones I get vs the ones I'm full on and see how it effects the count. Hopefully that wasn't the design of this event. I'd hate to have to dump NTGs just to get credit for getting them.

Just did an attack. 5* and got 2 Marble and 1 Wood. I was full on Wood and got 3 credits in the event.

Just a crapy, badly designed and bugged event. It should be corrected and restarted asap. It lasts 5 days instead if usual 7 days, it has ridiculous unreachable goals, and it even doesn't count the goods if the inventory is full.

Let's be generous and say you get 3 diamonds and 3 NTG on every single attack. This means you have to average 130 5-star perfect attacks per day to complete the event in CWA. BHG: please tell me how you think that is a reasonable goal. Nobody plays that much! Not even close. If the number isn't a bug, that's just ridiculous. A middle school student could estimate a better goal than that.

Yep - just heard back from customer service - if your storehouse is full it doesn’t count the NTG or Diamonds.
Its like they’re trying to decimate the playing community with relentless F-ups. Oh and nice Marco Polo again... not.

Thanks for the info Peaced Off. I’ve been getting repeated diamond + 3 trade goods, but the number was not going up for the event. I have full storehouse for everything. I now know to stop trying to do the event. Cheers

So, who cares about some food and gold for step 4 and 5 anyways?
I don't think events should be designed so everyone can reach all 5 goals, it's ok I guess although the CWA goal is a bit ridiculous indeed.
But then again, the rewards are so poor, I'm not sure why players even try to reach them.

Oh even CWA cheaters can’t accumulate the needed goods for this event. CWA goals are insane completely impossible to achieve. Nexon who does quality control there because nobody seems to check things like this. Don’t just let the little girl pulling the red wagon selling cookies make the decisions on events. On second though maybe let her because she would do better than what’s been going on. Come on man! Just think before you act important thing to do in life and business

Don't even bother. Even if it counted correctly, it would be a big challenge to get even the first reward. Nobody in the game in CWA will achieve the last reward. The required numbers are off by at least a factor of 10 of what is even remotely achievable. No dev plays late-age accounts, so they just pull these numbers out of their butts I guess. Totally out of touch with the game.

I play a lot, and I only have around 100 credits toward the event. Just 3700 more to go!
