Thought about leaving the game after over 10 lop-sided war matches that we had no hope of even winning. All over the forums and in e-communities that discuss Dominations there are tirades, suppositions, proposed fixes, and laments over the state of the game's war matching. Nobody knows exactly how it works, and between the lines of all the posts there is an outpouring of frustration.
There was a console game published many years ago, by one of the best game developers of the time. It was met with high expectations but flopped miserably. In an interview decades later the lead designer confessed in what he had done wrong. He ended up creating a game that left the players feeling lost and confused. ET really was a miserable experience. Let's not let a game as lovable and enjoyable as Dominations fall to the same folly.
Just publish the match making algorithm in unambiguous terms and stop leaving the players feeling frustrated in their confusion and loss for understanding.
