Lag Fixed?

I've been moaning about the game lagging ever since the 7.2 update back in July last year, but I haven't suffered any performance issues since their last update (8.3)

Have they fixed the lag? I didn't see any mention of performance fixes in the notes that came with the last update. Does anyone else still have problems?

On another note, I've just read that Tin Soldier is no longer with BHG - I know some people think he wasn't active enough in these forums but personally I think he did quite a good job (mainly because he 'liked' two of my posts ) If true, I hope someone steps up to take his place

they changed some libraries...probably one of them was causing those lags. I chose to upgrade my device and ever seen I had no issues
Yes Tin is no longer working for BHG. He will be missed

what device are you using? i'm still experiencing lag but i haven't updated my ios on my ipad 4
edit: i updated my ios and the lag seems to have been reduced significantly

I tried my older devices, and they're still very sluggish on Dominations (they run some games OK). I don't expect they plan to improve performance for older devices, I was kinda told so by CS months ago. My new one works fine, no change noticed.

Better than nothing but still so many bugs that I wonder the game still “runs”.
