Latest update is broken

After i updated my game, everything except for my nation and the remaining uncleared forest became green. The mountain and the sea were gone. It's just plain green. Any chance this problem of mine can be fixed?

What a weird thing to happen to your forests - thank you for grabbing screenshots!

The best thing to do is to contact our Customer Service team about problems in game. To do this, please tap the Settings tab at the far right, then tap on Customer Service. You can search our FAQ section for a solution. If you do not find one, please tap the icon in the upper right called Contact Us and it will open an issue with Customer Support.

Wow, that's pretty funky. Never seen before. Have you tried to re-install the game? I don't think that the basics of the map are stored server side, but locally on your device.

Exept, you have to be fast, the game times out, and your elaborate post and screenshots are gone, way to go...

Over a year ago I had a similar problem, except the green was replaced by black. Reinstalling the game fixed it for me.
