I think overall the devs are open to our ideas. I figured it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Please tell me three things they changed on our request?

The wall upgrades with chicken is definitely a good improvement. The second slot...euh..never used it as upgrade costs are too high. More production..bof.. i get more from 1 or 2 MP attacks...

On the other side, they are not listening too much more important requests like matchmaking, sandbagging, and the other huge list of game issues.

It is all a question of priorities and the team is providing new features instead of fixing this broken game..

I agree on the principle Gail. You get nothing if you don't ask. But knowing Nexon's track record...

Replays
Sharing attacks
Edit mode in town map
Ability to save different town maps
Alliance competitions (War is an awesome answer to that)
Extra workers (I still haven’t purchased a mansion)
Decluttering Troop tray (not sure SH is what we had in mind but they did declutter it and it’s much better now)
A market to trade things (not sure if Marco Polo qualifies)
Sea units (still waiting for navy but we do have a dock)
More nations (they sort of added more by giving us the embassy, we specifically asked for Americans and Russians and they are both there)

These are just a few off the top of my head in addition to what Alexey mentioned.

I know many of the things we request aren’t exactly what we had in mind but they are what they could do. I don’t pretend to know what is involved in adding features to a game but I can imagine it is quite difficult making it fit in with already existing code. From my nearly 3 years experience with this game I feel we are being heard and the devs are doing their best to add features that we hope for or something like it. But they have to also fit it within the parameters of what is best for the stability of the game and also what is feasible from a business standpoint.

If your kid asks for a pony and you live in an apartment you may ignore the request or buy him a rocking horse (which isn’t exactly what he had in mind). He can whine all he wants but it’s just not feasible to own a pony in an apartment. This is the way I see this. I’m pretty sure it can be done because we did have a top 250 for a very short time a while ago. They took it away for some reason and I’m hoping they can find a way to bring it back. As I said, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Assuming that only the top alliances are the big spenders and the main revenue source for the game is a gross oversight of the “Johnny come lately” players. Nexon can easily look through their records of big spenders of real cash to discover that some of the newest players, although not in the top 10 or top 100 alliances, are a huge source of income!

Ok. Fair point. And what does that have to do with the leaderboard? I'm merely positing that most of those folks spend big to get there and maintain the status and deserve the recognition. But it wouldn't hurt for other alliances to see how they measure up beyond a vague glory number.

And, apparently, he's angry too, I suppose!
PS: I came across his base a couple of days ago in a PvP match-up! :)
