I agree most people would say just do the same thing back I do not want to have half of alliance be a shell account.. this definitely is taking the fun out of the game

Its amazing what even 5-7 undeveloped bases can do to their matching algorithm. For what its worth, 7 of our last 9 battles at 40/45 have been teams stacking undeveloped bases to lower their war competition. Its gotten so bad.

The only solution I can think of would be to not include the bottom 25-40% of a roster in a matchmaking equation. Teams can still have whomever they want on the bottom, but would give incentive to have them active, participating players rather than mostly unplayed alts to pad their matchup. Maybe there are other smarter ideas than that out there.

I would suggest a weightage system, where more weight is given to those higher up in the rankings.

In Clash Royale, the clan trophies are calculated by weight and in a clan of 50 people, rank 1-10 (50%), 11-20 (25%), 21-30 (12%), 31-40 (10%), 41-50 (3%).

Of course, the weightage which they use is kind of extreme to be adapted for wars in Dominations, but the general idea can still be applied here. For example, in a 25 man war, we can propose 1-5 (30%), 6-10 (25%), 11-15 (20%), 16-20 (15%), 21-25 (10%)

This creates lesser incentive to fill up lots of lower age base in their war line up, while still giving room for newer players to be included and a chance to grow their nations too.

This is destroying the game for those of us who fight fair. If you look at the leaderboard it is packed with alliances where half are global, the other half are lvl 11 iron age - most likley alter ego accounts of their top players. We have low level participating players who get no real targets for war and end up being discouraged and dropping out. Our IN and EN players are left fighting bases that are Global and 20 to 50 levels above them. This needs to be fixed quickly or even more players will get discouraged and abandon dominations for a game that weights wars more equitably.

Nb4powerup is there any consideration of changing the system as suggested here - only count top 40% of roster? This is a simple fix and would eliminate advantage for teams that maintain shell players at the bottom of their rosters..really ruins the whole glory system.

the current matchmaking system is rewarding this stacking behavior, so winning alliances will be shaped by it. Although this is not cheating, it is taking advantage of an exploit that I do not think was intended by the developers and it is therefor up to the developers to fix it (like the fixed the force quit exploit). I am pretty sure they will but unfortunately, it may take a while by which time it may be difficult to catch up on glory board....

Hi all!

Glory and matchmaking is something that both BHG and NexonM is constantly monitoring. Player feedback also plays a major role in how we make adjustments. Glory is still relatively new, so we are all ears!

As everyone here knows, I welcome discussions on just about every topic but threads that start out by calling for a boycott and then slam other users with insults is a no go. Regardless of where you stand on an issue, be civil when sharing your opinions.

I will make sure that the feedback is passed along none the less.
