learn from your mistake and never spend crowns on chests and never buy the chest offers.

Yep, the move to a casino-style mystery chests was dumb. The drop rates for actual good stuff are far too low and the old way where you actually knew what you were purchasing was better.

You can look at the potential rewards before purchasing the chest. I looked at the rewards on this one, mostly out of curiosity, and even the best possible outcome wasn't worth 400 crowns. It's not like they were packing elephant archers in the chest or anything close.

They really need to tell you the odds each item. Isn't that actually a law in some countries?

Same here, i bot this chest for 400 crowns as well, 1 impi army, some cider and metal, that was it. it was a complete rip-off, and i would never again spend some meaningful crowns on Marco polo.

Gambling? it it were gambling, the cost to wage should be much lower, 400 crowns is equal to 3.5~3.8 USD, that's more expensive than most of the vegas slot machines, ten fold.

i read through the chest description, and it was false and deceptive advertisement on their end. There was never disclosure that you would only get couple of ciders and metals for 400 crowns.

Gamble - to take risky action in the hope of a desired result.

Spending 400 crowns at a chance to get cards is a gamble.

There is nothing deceptive about their chest. They clearly show you have the chance at all of the listed items. It doesnt say you are guaranteed specific items.

LordJestix, are you kidding me, with wager so high, any ordinary guy like myself wouldn't consider 400 crowns in exchanging a risky bet, we thought we are buying something meaningful.

Im not kidding you. I knew exactly how the chests work, and anyone that has opened a chest ever should know how they work, and would never had considered spending 400 crowns on such a thing. And i have no sympathy for anyone that spent crowns on these.

So i take it youve been to vegas(or at least a casino) and only played penny slots? You never sat down at a table game and had a $5 bet on black jack, roulette, craps, or many of the other options? Those are all risky options. Did you cry to the casino owners when you lost your money?

If you spend crowns on anything other than finishing a building upgrade or if you have spent money on cards, you are playing right into what BHG wants you to do. They want you to waste your money and crowns on things that dont actually help you progress.

Yes, but at a casino, you know in advance what the odds are, especially for the games you mentioned. Here we don't know the odds. It could be a 0.001% chance of getting more than one army. Nowhere does it say what the odds are.

If Nexon forced you to spend the crowns, perhaps had a razor and said ''spend 400 crowns or we'll shave this cute little puppy completely bald'', etc, you only have yourselves to blame.
Take responsibility for your decisions.

No other game i have played that has anything close to this post the odds of the 'drops' in their 'chest'

Every chest i have opened with rubies has been trash. I get a couple troops and a bunch of ntg or a blessing. I wouldnt ever expect a crown chest to be much better.

these chests are for suckers and they will continue to offer them as long as suckers keep throwing their money at BHG. And this is why P2W will never go away.

400 crowns = 0 USD. Don't equate crowns that you buy versus crowns that I get for free. It's not real money gambling.

There are no odds here because crowns don't equate to money. In that sense the casino (game) is giving you house money (crowns) for free by way of achievements, goals, videos etc., to win prizes (chests).

LordJestix , as long as the discussion is always healthy, productive, and respectful I'm ok with it!
Life would be boring if everyone agreed with everyone! :D

If you want to use anything on Marco polo, use the new rubies on some chests. Quite a good deal if you ask me. To spend crowns on a lottery thing is ....well, good for Nexon and bad for you. As many pointed out, you were fully aware of the gamble. Don't complain. The bank always wins in a lottery.
