Forget it. Our game designer has already stated that he has nothing more to say about cheaters but still working on this issue.
I get bored with these repetitious posts 😕

sure..working on it = keep the cheaters, but find a way that they cannot be spotted anymore. There are too many complaints of those cheaters. lol

Actually blood, your analogy is not sound.
Nexon advertises all the things you can buy in-game. How does this equate to Walmart having paper bags that hide the items?
If someone decides to buy crowns, they know how many they'll get.
If someone decides to buy blueprints, they know how many they'll get.
If someone decides to buy troops, they know what they'll get.
And so on.

I encourage everyone to try this matrix glitch or whatever 'holes' are posted by concerned players.
l also hope for your sake that nexon isn't allowing these posts as a tracking or entrapment exercise for all the fish who bite.
Just please don't start new posts asking why were you banned. 😁

best thread since months..I am spending more time trying to get into the matrix mode, then to play the game. All workers busy for weeks to come, impossible wars, etc.

At least this is fun and I can play the matrix mode on my own. I like it.

No need to report players abusing known glitches.
They have the data. They even confessed, that they are storing tons of historic data (see Facebook rollout of new MMR).
even if fixing the bug was hard...
It's just a single SELECT statement to identify all at once.

Even a screenscraper fed hobby site like dominations.pl has the data.
The question remains: why don't they do anything about it?

My guess: you get money for adds in relation to the number of active players.
So banning all those cheaters and bots would significantly decrease the number of active players and thereby the earnings.
This could be solved if customers would pay more for showing their adds to real people.
As long as they don't care, it's quantity; not quality.

I'm sure it will change soon as more and more and more studios provide high quality user bases.

I used the glitch after I found this discussion. Got banned a few days later. After ban time was over my account is now completely corrupted. I was Romans, level 266 space age, had paid for extra workers house, spent 30.000 crowns in University.

BHG punished my account as follows:

- British level 238, different wonders, current wonder not built
- Extra estate/workers gone!
- university gone
- museum gone
- alliance level 8 (was max)
- library research was CWA max, thrown back 3 ages
- 2nd research slot in library gone
- 2nd research slot in armory gone
- Korean leader in university was almost max by using crowns - 30.000 crowns wasted
- my player name is wrong (''Player1')
- basically they removed everything I paid real money for and put my account to a state that is like 12 months ago, with wrong nation, wrong wonders, wrong player name
- account is ruined completely, money is gone, BHG took the money, didn't fix the bugs, then took away what I paid for

Were you looking for? Sympathy? I don’t think anyone is going to feel bad for you. It sucks but you used the glitch. I’ve reported so many people over the last year and nothing happened to them. Once in a while they got rolled back but those were bases where all the buildings were being upgraded. You’d probably say you did small stuff but I’d bet you decided to go crazy on the upgrades. There’s also no detection, all you can do is see it visually so someone say your base and reported you. If you spent all those crowns, why would you even risk it for the biscuit? The instructions are clear but the warnings are there as well.

My base is totally maxed. Spent helluva money and time too. Never crossed my mind to cheat because I wanted to sleep well at night. Yes,I'm annoyed at the game's imperfections but it's just a game and flaws are just part of life. Just like zits and hemmeroids. For those who cheated and got banned, here's a hug and Tee Hee~

My account has been clean at least until 26th March. None of the things started with glitch workers finished, because my account was locked after a few days already. Why I tried the glitch? Because I was pissed off by the fact that devs don't care to fix it. And the spark that got it going even more was that IronSource once again did not pay out the reward I earned through an offer, resulting in the loss of almost 4000 crowns that then we're missing after progressing to Space Age. So I wasn't able to do instant upgrade on armory and library. Because I already had spent almost all of my 30.000 crowns in university to advance Korean leader who then was almost maxed. The punishment seems totally random. They don't roll back your account to a previous state according to your nation, achievements and buildings. They take some default shit account and assign it to you. They destroy everything you had. All troop tactics, event buildings, inventory resources etc gone. They even remove the 3 extra workers estate you paid for and also effectively destroy all crowns you spent or had and take away 2nd research slots. In other words: they cripple your account so hard that you are forced to quit the game. It's not a reasonable punishment, especially considering that I had been playing honest for almost 4 years and spent lots of real money on the game. I haven't used the glitch for years but only for a few days to try it myself. Because I was so pissed that devs still allow this glitch in the game even though it'd be so easy to fix or filter out all cheaters all at once.

I was always curious about the "roll back," I couldn't imagine that they would actually take the time workout what was done after the cheating started. Looks like I've got my answer.

@Kloputzer

This is exactly what they made with the base of our previous leader who left the game because of this incident.
They did not role back the base, but they did destroyed randomly several buildings, researches and resources.
It did not make sense at all. The nicest part of this punishement was, that they upgraded all of his generals to level 40.

In my point of view this punishment was not success-oriented at all.

Armin

The generals are all all level 40 now, yes. Very strange. I assume they apply the same sh*t base to everyone who got banned. It's not a reasonable punishment. It's effectively forcing the player to quit the game. I tried the glitch for 5 days out of anger and curiosity. If they would have rolled back my base to a previous state like 1-2 months before glitch usage, it would have made sense. But the way they handle it is a total corruption of the account which nullifies all previous achievements and purchases or makes them useless in hindsight.

I have already contacted Google support on this issue and gave them a full report on the situation. They agree that the way they sanctioned this is not okay and agree that I should get a full refund of the items I purchased. Their guidelines say I have to contact BHG customer support once more and if they don't respond or are not willing or not able to resolve the issue in a reasonable way, I can then contact Google support again and they will take steps to sanction BHG. Google customer service told me they will then examine BHG's way of sanctioning customers and eventually remove Dominations from their store if BHG doesn't restore damaged accounts to a reasonable state or refund the players.

I don't think so, Kloputzer. What lies have you told us here?
Google can only refund you, cause you have legal rights to ask for refund. They have nothing to do with BHG. (Nexon is the publisher, not BHG 😉)

It would be so much easier for us to figure out what happens on roll backs, if they would be a bit more transparent, like:
All cheaters will not get a roll back but a stupid base according to their age.

But sinçe here we have an Eastern Asian company in the background, we will never see transparency.
I worked for a Japanese company for 13 years, and they have never been transparent. Even positive updates have been silently published, just because it was an update. It is so crazy. Of course Corea <> Japan, but I guess their way of communication is quite similar.

If I talk about BHG it's Nexon as well of course. And no, it wasn't a lie. I talked to Google support earlier today and they told me they can take steps against the publisher and that they will remove Dominations from the store if they find the publisher's treatment of customers is not reasonable. As for my case they agreed that the punishment is completely exaggerated and not justifiable. If they find this to be a pattern applied to all users, they take it very serious and consider removing Dominations from their store, especially because devs didn't fix that glitch which allow the exploit in the first place.

Lip service for the customers 😊
Stop justifying your exploit action and move on.
Consider this. A drug dealer can be punished with lifetime jail in one country, when in other countries he could get death penalty.
Nexon's TOS is stronger than your bluffing.
Makes sense to you?

Nexon could just outright ban and be done with it. That would feel better than getting a completely different base?

Are you trying to stereotype and generalize Eastern Asia companies (and people)?!
