Missile Silo just appeared

I just noticed that Missile Silo appeared in my defensive buildings this morning. 160k oil and 5 days with 6 workers to build. Did anyone rush its construction? Anyone seen it in action yet? How is it?

Watch the replay, it seems extremely overpowered, and rally actually seems to do more harm than good. The cooldown timer needs to be much longer (probably 30 seconds) for attackers to stand a chance.

I just checked and I do not see it available yet. I'll keep an eye out. Good to know it is in the mix now.

Quovatis, if that's the case, that's like a second TC. Better than Forbidden City for wars.

Sorry, it has 7500 hp as base. Was looking with coalitions/blessing active.

Way too overpowered. Going to be like a bazooka sentry with unlimited range on every base.

Anyone know if it can be sabotaged?

Does anybody know how often this thing fires? I see it has an "attack speed" of 10 seconds, but I'm not sure what that means.

ReekyBullet I already use 5 main battle tanks in my lineup so I imagine they'll draw the fire. I'll just deploy them a little away from the rest of my forces to take the hits until I can take the silo down.

Ok, I have done some friendly challenges against the vaunted silo. I deployed 4 tanks and then the rest of my army. The silo targeted the group of tanks, as I had hoped. I took out the silo with one demo and one run of my 4 planes and was able to 5 star one of our top bases. It will certainly make things interesting, but with a full war attack I don't think it will cause TOO much trouble.

Raids are going to suck though, as I tend not to use any tactics/mercs and don't use all 4 planes.

This is my main concern. War attacks are fine - I use tactics and mercenary tanks and generals and don't worry much about losing planes. Although once bases get redesigned around this, with SAMs and air defenses to make it very difficult to access from the air, it will be a problem. But I use APCs for multiplayer battles, no tanks, no generals, no tactics, and try to protect my planes. Unless plane / tactic rebuild times go down dramatically, this is going to be a serious hit to raiding as an atomic player.

Doing some friendly match:
1. Fighter able to depress it: slow it down to 30s per missile
2. normally it will aim tanks
3. very hard to get out from its locked area (about 1s between lock symbol and actual missile launched)
4 waiting for test report from British line attack

I tried a line attack in a friendly challenge and it was fine as I used tank destroyers and decoys as I would in war, they distract the missiles fine. But as a previous poster mentioned, in multiplayer attacks most people avoid using mercs, tactics and suicidal planes.
I retried the base and treated it as a multiplayer raid and it was a disaster. It makes the rally function completely redundant. You can rally your troops away from one missile strike but as the next one is only 10 seconds later it obliterates most of your army that has been conveniently rallied together.

Looks like generals take reduced dmg from it like how planes do less dmg to generals. Guess you'll have to hold on rally till you destroy silo while your general tanks the hits.

Yes, didn't make a dent on my top generals either in a war attack
